This is very much a tip-of-the-iceberg type of video - obviously it's impossible to cover EVERY way to craft EVERY item. For example, I didn't have time to talk about fossils at all. But I am kinda stuck, I can easily do T11 until T13 maps, but I can't upgrade my current gear because I have no currency.
Any advice on how to progress ?

@@smokie_777 now the difficult part is trying to figure out betrayal mechanics to get all the unveiled... sighhh poe is a rough one for newbies hahahaha
Betrayal for unveiled will be fairly simple for you luckily. Just spec into a little bit of betrayal atlas nodes and unveil every item they drop

Awesome video! I tried to spam essences on the axe until I good hybrid but instead I hit t2 increased phys and +1 to socketed gems. Since the t2 inc phys is so rare I decided to keep it even with no hybrid since it was a nice upgrade to my previous axe. But the +1 to socketed gems seems kinda underrated. If it's 6 linked and you socket boneshatter there it looks like a 8-10% more damage multiplier, which is competitive with t5-t4 hybrid. Alternatively you could stick your auras in the weapon, though I don't know how to quantify all the different effects they provide against the lost constant dps. I'm just wondering if it's competitive enough to consider it.
hm, i never thought about that but it actually makes sense. cuz boneshatter gem scales flat phys dmg with level. you'd have to POB how much damage increase +1 gems give u compared to hybrid, but yeah +1 gems/high %phys/flat phys should be very viable. i think it would be better to put a 6l boneshatter in it though rather than auras, though.

Thank you for this video, Smokie! One question; I'm playing Boneshatter Jugg, and I was wondering which ailment immunties you manage to obtain and how. Even though my gear has become pretty decent, I'm still dying randomly, and I think it's because of different ailments. I'd love to know how you go about this. Thanks!
Ah, usually i just take soul of Garukhan for 60 reduced shock effect, then craft 40 reduced shock efffct on boots, or ring. For chill/freeze jugg is immune from ascendancy. Bleed immune on life flask. Ignite/poison are the most annoying ones but usually I just tank them. All the other ailments can be annoying too but I cba to build immunity for them
If u do prefixes cannot be changed when u have the prefixes u want u can reforge speed on the horti bench to garantee attk peed tho it has higher varriance
how do you get double damage mod??
@@gdraggon9589 u could either do prefixes cannot be changed aisling or veiled chaos orb (but chaos orbing can fill suffixes same way horticrafting could) and hope for the best and just craft attack speed or just craft it instead

One thing I would add is if you want to guarantee PDR you roll prefixes first with Dread (Flat Armour) / Doubt (Flat Evasion). One of the popular ways to get a gigantic armour on trade is % Armour/Evasion or Hybrid % Armour/Evasion fracture + those essences until you hit what other good armour prefix is missing. Then you can clean suffixes with Eldritch currency and do Prefixes cannot be changed reforge which would 100% guarantee PDR because your prefixes are full so you cannot roll reflect phys. Of course on SSF you'd be limited to your number of Eldritch annuls but those aren't that rare. Without fracture you can do dense fossils instead, it's just more RNG.
Now you're probably wondering why I put Armour and Evasion as equivalents, well GGG changed how the Jugg ascendancy works so right now you will most likely get more armour from a STR/DEX base than a Glorious Plate because if you play Iron Reflexes (Converts all evasion to armour) how the game will work is convert all of your evasion to armour and then double that from the Ascendancy. So a Triumphant Lammellar with 1700 Evasion and 1200 Armour is actually 5800 armour ((1700 + 1200) * 2) not 4100 (1700 + 1200 * 2 ) armour as it used to be.
good stuff, all of this seems to be correct. i wish eldritch currency was more popular in ssf so you could do crafting strats like this. and yes i did hear about the jugg ascendacncy change, seems a bit counterintuitive to have str/dex base be better than str for a jugg, but i guess that's what ggg wanted so we are. but yes this is all good info.
@@smokie_777 there is one downside to it. STR/DEX has a lot more bad affixes so making a very good chest can be much harder but making an okay 4/6 or 5/6 good affixes easier, at the cost of no damage shifting which kinda hurts in deep delve and simulacrum (phys taken as ignores overwhelm). It's also harder to get good res on it because of extra dex and suppression affixes that you don't want.
when would I use a veiled chaos instead of aisling slam?
What ilvl gear are you supposed to craft on while progressing to higher tier reds to get the ideal ilvl base? Feels like im stuck in the purgatory of high yellows/low reds trying to get gear but theres no upgrades in sight. I'm struggling to do the league mechanics im spec'd into like expedition/essence so I'm not getting much juice to craft with.
Good question, this is the most difficult part of the build for sure, the awkward high yellow low red period of time. At this point it’s hard for slayer to cap supp or get taken as, which makes red maps rippy. What I did is basically use str or str/dex gear you picked up off the ground until you can craft on 84/85 bases. Look for high life and res mainly. For me this period of time I died a lot but if you have enough damage and APM you should be fine until you can craft some supp gear. You can also path all the way to inveterate and grab all the supp nodes so you only need supp on a few items to hit 100. I might make a guide on this tonite…
Please do so! I am also stuck on low reds. Have done a few t16s with easy mods but dying a ton of most high reds

Increased damage while leeching doesn't specify life, as Jugg you're always leeching mana while attacking so inc damage while leeching works with Jugg too not just Slayer.
I'm using 5 mana flasks because you did not include a flask section 😔
Dont your normally run hybrid armour and evasion gear on slayer not pure evasion?
in this build i run pure evasion and use iron reflexes. imo it's much easier to craft on dex gear cuz it has double weight on supp than str/dex. personally i don't see the upside of str/dex, it's significantly harder to roll supp and doesn't provide much more defense, unless i'm mistaken. only exception is the body, cuz hybrid can roll both supp and PDR. on a non-boneshatter slayer build you'd probably go for hybrid, though.

Personally I don’t, I find the tree pretty good, but maybe if ur tainted pact and have lots of supp on gear you could run a phys or axe one
