She confirmed in a live that it would be about 50% english/50% faroese. I'm waiting for them too as I love faroese and how it sounds

I agree that it's better than the studio version. The studio version does't highlight her voice as well, especially in the chorus; the chorus is a bit of an anticlimax although the whole of course is still powerful

I would be interested to hear how my fellow Eivør fans discovered her.
For me it was watching 'Screaming Masterpiece' where there was a brief clip of Brostnar Borgir. I then hunted down every Eivør cd, not easy in England. I've since seen her twice live and met her briefly.
At my concerts when I was just starting out 9 years ago people kept saying I sounded a bit like her which I don't think I do but we both love Kate Bush so there's that influence... and finally I got her albums about 5 years ago and loved her music so much. Now I am looking forward to this new album and fingers crossed a concert later in the year :)

@@loki6626 Oh very nice. I will check you out too. Yes she is amazing and Tori Amos was a big influence as well. So many strong amazing female musicians from back in the 80's and 90's for sure. I hope you manage it. My partner is from Leeds and we are in the process of moving there from Germany but yeah during these times we will have to see :)
