Thank you. I have the original score and played it with the variations that I personally liked. I guess everyone has the option to play it using whichever written variations they choose. I can assure you that I played every note that was there 😉

Ahh This is tough because I really like the concept of doing videos like this, I like the spirit of the video and thus I do feel very bad criticizing any part of it. That said, in the very first bar of the piece I could see you would be taking the easiest road, but not trying to play it as best it can be played. The first open string one plays should be the D in the bass part (if any!). The first note of the piece at the seventh fret should be barred across the 5 and 6 strings and played together. You are losing that F# note because you're relying on the open string to hit the B that follows, which should be played on the 4th fret of the 3rd string, so you can sustain the 7th fret notes (B & F#) while you play the bass part on the lower strings
Thus the starting position in tab would be X-X-7-4-7-7 with the last two strings barred and plucked together to start the piece, then the 4, 7, 4 on top (then the open d). Not only are you losing a key note to play it the easier way, but you're alternating open and fretted strings constantly which never sounds as good as fretting all of the notes, especially in a bouncing bass section like this.
Again, I don't want to be a critic because I think it's really great to do videos like this! Just something to consider.

I have tried to get what you're saying but I can't. This version is pretty much what most guitarists play. Is there a video of someone playing it the way you suggest? That could be of benefit to everyone here - not just me.
