Well I gotta admit, that was really interesting and I may have to go find a drift track in my area and try it out! I am glad to see that you haven’t gone completely over to the dark side in that you still prefer XT-60 connectors, lol. If you had switched to Deans or god forbid, Traxxis, that would be horrible... One question I have to ask Jeff - would that motor and ESC work on something like a spec wing, or that Sonic you built? All that cool tech, I want to make it fly....
+Tom Muhleman, Jr. that would be a cool project challenge! Maybe I’ll take the motor I took out and try it on a airplane- the kv is around 3500. Lol about the connectors! Rwd drift is both rewarding and frustrating- the feel and setup can change so much with 1/4” turn of the wrench or the wear in of the tires. Totally fun if you like to tinker. Super rewarding when you get it right and can drive controllably next to your friends and they trust your skills! One other factor is this- the track stays open usually until 2am. If I want to drift after my family goes to bed, I can. It doesn’t conflict with my family time,,, though I’m tired the next morning,,,lol
Xt60 is the superior plug. Easier to solder too. Now on my drift car I use batteries with removable wires. I have a 90 degrees plug that goes directly from the esc to the battery- no plug at all
Nice Looking Car Jeff, are you using & Steering Gyro that's cheating take it off, you should learn how to drive without it i used mine for about a week then took it off, i didn't like it Don't you fly any more all i ever see are drift cars videos, when will we see some flying lol
+Anything RC I do still fly,,, these videos are needed because there are so few setup” videos on TH-cam for drift cars. When driving rwd- almost everyone, including the pros ,uses a gyro- not cheating at all. If you drive 4wd and use a gyro- that’s cheating, lol
Need more videos like this for yokomo stuff thanks for the help
LOL!! Nice solder job, "Yang"

How big a difference was it from your prior setup?
How do you like the PRO4D for drifting?
Does the calibrate work with the blrs 4d?
great, however, it appears you have put the antenna wires together?
+Mike Hale hasn’t affected anything- yet
Where did you get them wheels ?
Does anyone know how to calibrate Yokomo BL-Pro4 esc. No matter what I do with set button nothing changes. It just blinks red/green
What kind of tool are you using at about @5:30 looks to be a digit torque driver
Would like to know too
Hi, why 10.5 and not 13.5? Noob here trying to figure out my next purchase lol or it all depwnds on the track you running at?
What Gyro have you got here? Thanks in advance. Great informative video, just ordered that motor and esc combo for my upcoming drifter.
I currently use the V3 Yokomo Gyro. This one was the yokomo 302
@@7demo7review Thank You so much, i will go with the V3.
I have this exact same combo, what size pinion are you running? Thank You.
Stock spur and 23 tooth pinion
@@7demo7review Cool thanks again.
Did u have to change motor direction?
Nope
I got same esc but mine doesnt have reverse lol i dunno how to adjust it lol
Question.... Do I have to buy a programmer to run the ESC from factory? I have a little bit of a different set up... Bl-RS4d with the 13.5 dx1r.
Sorry, I don’t know
everybody use deans why? u are the first i see that use xt60

Jeff's got a point you can't drift rear wheel drive without a gyro its very difficult
@@7demo7review Thanks for posting these videos. It's a GAPING hole of youtube i'm finding as I build up my yokomo yd
