    I'm glad more an more folks are going for more humane bee removals. As a kid most of the time Id see folks just douse them in poison an/or sealed em in. An with the alarming mass bee die-off, bees now can use all the help they can get.
    My mom has donated a huge neighboring plot of land on her homestead into a bee haven where a dear friend and local bee rescuer can store them safely there till they can find a home or stay at the farm. My mom says she would have done this sooner if she had only knew how well her fruit trees an bushes would do with them around. She's gets so much fruit it's insane, win win.

    I’m wondering what you do with the comb? Texas Beeworks saves the comb with the bees and transports them together

    Great videos! I did cringe though when I saw the Queen start turning around to twist its own leg off. Wanted you so badly to just open your fingers at that moment so she didn't have too haha. Thank you for the videos you share, you do amazing work.

    What do you do with the honey combs after you shake off the bees? Also, what do you do with the bees?

    Why are the bees going into the box by themselves?

      They are following the queen. That’s why.

    What do you mean the hive split and why does it happen?

    • @vbinkk1385
      @vbinkk1385 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A hive can only have one queen(except in some cases) when a hive gets "unhappy" or their queen dies they lay queen cells, new queens are born and take half the hive with her to start a new hive. Happens for various reasons but more often because the hives gotten too large. A lot of times that bees swarm its in protest & indicates something like this occuring.

    Why do you use cardboard boxes? And not use regular bee boxes so you only have to move them in one box instead of 2

    • @Mr.Mrs.BeeRescue
      @Mr.Mrs.BeeRescue  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      We use cardboard boxes for transporting them because we donate all of our rescues to local beekeepers

    Maybe if you focused on getting her into a cage as soon as u catch her you won't look like a fool when she Flys off or Flys away. Also stop just pulling the comb off use a mud knife or honey knife you should be putting the comb I use able into frames and give it back to them
