Nicely done! You did a great job selling the resort. Grander and larger are not always better. But what about Aiden's POV? I'm just teasing you. 😅 Again, you guys did a great job on this!
Lol! We're trying to get him to be more vocal in our family vlogs, but...teenagers. One day..one day.. As always we appreciate you following all of our adventures!!
You can to the hotels. Not in the parks. But you can brings some food, snacks, drinks in the park, just no booze. Yall should go! Yall would love Epcot where you can drink around the world 😉
my familys fav wdw resort. what i love is the farthest located room is still a very short walk to the cafeteria compared to bigger resorts. its so quaint.
@@DaverrasonTravels We are planning on Wilderness Lodge. We stayed at AKL last year and loved it and Wilderness is the next one on the list. 3 of us staying in one room to bring the cost down and we cannot wait!
Enjoying your videos. I'm from San Antonio also. I use to work for Disney. My favorite is port Orleans riverside. I love their Tiana room is so magical the headboards on the beds are beautiful.
How fun! We told our son that he should work for Disney! lol We really like both port Orleans properties just the small size of French quarter did it for us ☺️ Thanks so much for your support! ❤️
Best resort at Disney World hands down. We've stayed here for years, we always said we wanted to stay at the Poly and we finally did, in a DVC room even! It was nice but we spent our days missing the FQ
Hi D&S - It's been a while since we've been to Disney and we always tended to stay at the "Value" properties as really only needed a place to sleep, shower and get ready for the next theme park. We noticed that the room layout of Orleans is very similar to the value properties but definitely some nicer touches. Disney definitely does a great job at theming. The beignets are out of this world. Gideon's looks to be a huge sugar rush, it's definitely on our list, Curtis sure perked up when he saw the coffee cake cookies! Thanks for another fun vlog guys! 🍪 Cheers!!!😎🍻
Yeah, we stay at the value resorts too! Love Pop Century but this resort is just so relaxing! But agree that some of the values look the same in the room. Just a little smaller.
I would love to stay at a Disney Resort but I just feel it is out priced for your average over sea's visitor (especially a family of five). It looks amazing and it would be the sort of place I would love to stay but it will be a dream until we win that lottery ( or I hit the grand in Vegas).
We stayed there in August of 2022. Quite frankly, I find it to be overrated. I also had a lot of issues with my room. The hotel is somewhat boring. The food selection is quite small. They messed up on a pizza order of ours. We ordered a "half veggie, half pepperoni" pizza. What we really ended up receiving was a "2 slices veggie, all the other slices having pepperoni" pizza. I would rather pay to stay at the Pop Century. If not that hotel, then just at a Good Neighbor Hotel outside of Disney World.
I can definitely see what you mean about the resort being “boring”. It’s definitely smaller and quieter with limited food options. But we love that about this property. With the parks being so chaotic, it’s nice to go to a quieter hotel to rest. And the boat ride to Springs is also a huge perk for us and we love to go to Springs numerous times. Also agree about Pop Century. We much prefer a value or moderate over a deluxe and the price difference is huge! Thanks for watching and commenting ☺️

As someone who's never been to any Disney resort, I'd probably dip my toe in with a value one first but this moderate one looks pretty great
Can you bring your own booze/food into Disneyworld?

@@DaverrasonTravels related question: how easy is it to go back n forth between your hotel room and the parks? 🤣
@shelovestheslots lol, depending on where you stay, it can be easy. But still takes time.
@@DaverrasonTravelsdoes the bus pick up other guests at different resorts or is it dedicated just to the two at Port Orleans resorts?

Right?! It is a nice a break from the busy parks!
Mmmm beignets!! This was interesting, and looks like a really fun resort. Such a well-done video guys. Cheers! 🥂
Yes, them beignets!! Thanks for watching you guys! ❤️
Cool video, thanks guys! We’re booking for our 2025 trip in the next few weeks. Just waiting for the free dining plan to start 🙌
Yes! That’s awesome. Definitely take advantage of those perks because we know Disney is expensive enough 😆
Where do yall plan on staying??

@TimAndMatt that one is definitely on our list! But yes, so expensive. Splitting the cost would be worth it 😉

We are staying here in July!!! So excited for some Mickey beignets!!
That’s so awesome!! We miss that place so much! lol
Have so much fun!!
thank you!
Thank you for watching!
FQ is our favorite too!
Hey Debra! 🫶
I’m shouting at my tv Wine Bar George! Then you mentioned it. We paid $250 for a $100 bottle of Caymus there once. 😂
Yikes! But if you got the Saganaki on Fire then it was all worth it!
@@DaverrasonTravels We didn’t. Pretty sure we just drank 😂.

From Canada. Went to this resort 5 years in a row from 2008-2012. Cause your dollar was on par or better during that period..T.
Great choice!
