when sitting in a display case, the chassis doesn't matter; can't see it anyway.
@@autobug2 That's not the point....it should be detailed also....because when the real car is on its four wheels on the ground you still can't see the details.....but you know it is there.......a realistic model like that is supposed to convey that same concept........although if it just on display.....
That underside was a complete let down to those fantastic details on the topside of the model I must say.....

The model is very accurate with one exception, one the real car the underbody near the rocker panels curves in! It's not straight. This flaw prevented me from getting their NYPD Caprice.

For the same money you could buy an rc version and drive it. You would also get a full drive train with transmission, transfer case, differential, axles, tie rod rod ends, shocks, springs, I could go on and on.
That can be a built in add on.

Well these model car manufacturers are never gonna use the attitude of making Nissan GT-R, McLaren F1 to make these American Traditional Classic Sedan. Their Attitude problem.
I'm surprised the only model car manufacturer making this one is from germany. American companies like ERTL, Highway61, Auto World, Precision Miniatures etc. havent made any 70s and 80s land yachts, mostly only focusing on muscle cars from the era.

Where can I buy one of those Caprice models? I used to drive a 1989 Police Caprice. One of the best cars ever. I would love to find one again for me to drive.

I seen those cars in Kuwait in 2011 and I swear they were brand new. I think GM sold them the press to print.

I'm guessing this is a resin model because nothing opens? I have a few resin models in my collection and on the shelf they look great, I just like having opening features. But why, oh why do they not give them a detailed undercarriage to go with the detailed exterior and interior? I would like resin cars a lot better if they just had them highly detailed everywhere!
I was waiting for the m80s. To blow it up. Guess that's only my thing.

For $450 dollars for this model they need to add opening panels such as all 4 doors opening engine and trunk opening with detail interior more detailed dashboard and seats and detailed undercarriage steerable steering wheel with turning steer tires at at $450 I've seen models with all the features that I mention I would put this model better $40 to $80 dollars at most
dude, this model is from a company called MCG. none of the models they make have opening parts, but all of the models they make have a retail price was $70. same for this model, back when it released in 2019. but due to extremely low production numbers, it was quickly sold out and now people who have it are selling it for crazy prices.
