As a freshman in college I understand how you feel. I struggled alot while making a decision because I was rejected from my top school. It was the only college I was rejected from and I had a hard time accepting it because I have always weighed my self worth through my academic achievements and it was the first time I failed so badly.
Fast forward to now, I love where I am and won't change it for the world. The universe has a plan for us and you just gotta trust it. Alot of my friends are unhappy at their college and I used to be envious of them because I felt like I couldn't see a clear future ahead and people were making decisions.
Trust the process and I don't hear it often from people but it mattered to me and I feel like it was for the best I made these my top priorities while deciding my uni. I think weather matters alot, I was clear that I can't live in a place where there is no weather change as I see the change of season as time passing by and progress. I also ended up choosing a college that was closer to home. The other one was across the country but the one I chose is like a 4-5 hour drive from home and the size and type of college it is. Like I wanted a college where I could explore and do alot of things while also having a good social life but not too chaotic too.
also katie never feel stuck where you picked! i transferred after my first year from a college i thought i would like to my dream school and so did many of my friends! always options

I totally relate to feeling uncertain about college decisions - it’s so hard to make a choice that will have such a huge impact on your life! I definitely want my choices to reflect God’s plan so I’m glad I’m not alone in navigating that during the stressful part of senior year. It has sort of felt like all of my friends have had super blessed circumstances with figuring out college, but I haven’t had that luxury. Learning how to be happy for others and trust God’s process for my life :) thanks for the encouragement Katie and I will be sending prayers for your college decision!

Colorado is my favorite place in the whole world no joke I’m there every single weekend and I don’t live in the state. Colorado is my heart home and is my happiest place I’m seriously considering going to college there (even though Baylor has been my dream school since i was 4) and definitely moving their at some point in my life. I hope you loved it as much as I do. ❤
i love your vlogs so much!! you are such an inspiration!!! my family has a house in breckinridge colorado that we go to every year and we went over the summer last year and my cousin is a senior and toured boulder and me and my family went as well and we all loved it and downtown is pretty cool and my cousin did pick boulder for college and he’s very excited

Have you thought about just doing community college for a year or two until you feel more certain with your decision? Just out of curiosity! I’m sure you want the “college experience” and you can still have it for the second half of your college career but if you’re really struggling leaving family and friends and being uncertain on what you want to do, I was just wondering if you considered doing college locally for the start?? Best of luck. I know it’s hard!
