His ability to throw around 350lb men like they are high school kids is endlessly entertaining. Dude is a beast and is exactly what this defense needs after the retirement of Cox.
Yes bro, please make a Jordan Davis and Nolan smith , Nakobe dean , Cooper and Mitchell content. The whole defense is young and producing while developing. Howie has built a young dynasty type defense, if everyone stays healthy.
The thing that’s so impressive about Carter is that not only does he have the raw power to effortlessly throw these O-linemen around like little kids but he has the speed to track down the ball carrier.. he’s literally blowing up plays in the backfield then he’s nearly making the tackles while simultaneously doing it.. I’m not sure if there’s a O-lineman in the league that can handle him 1 on 1 because he’s doing this vs double teams as well
I watch all your Eagles content and love it. I have “resentment” towards the slow progress and missed assignments from Jordan and Nolan. I really would love a mid season review of anyone on our line so I may see the positive going through the rest of the season.
I think all of the Georgia boys are producing well and developing at a good rate this season. Jordan Davis especially it doesn’t show up on the stat sheet but he’s already a top run stuffer.
No one liked the davis pick and give the guy soo much shit bec he doesn’t get sacks when anyone knows football would know that’s never been his game. His is a gap stuffer. He holds his blocks takes up space and forces the ball to go else where if he get 3 sacks thats a success in my book for him.
In all fairness, he took a big leap this year. He was not consistent his first two years. I also think him and Carter compliment each other well, so him playing well makes Davis' game better
Biggest difference between this years D and last? Growth from the Georgia boys and a good draft by howie to get hit on not one good secondary player but 2.
Take a master defensive coach like Vic Fangio, give him young, talented players and step back and watch. Offense sells tickets, defense wins championships.
It's awesome how all these young studs bought into vangio and his defense.... I hope Vic is here for at least 4yrs... Imagine what he gonna do with guys like Mitchell.. cooper... Carter.. when they hit there prime...
It’s absolutely crazy he played 100% of the defensive snaps in this game. That’s virtually unheard of in this NFL. Yet he maintained his dominance throughout the game. Bonkers.
@@emanueltorres7025dunno if he'll ever get to 15+ sacks in a season like a.donald but his impact as a disruptor and game changer on defense overall could potentially be equal or more..
Cosmi said "I hope they know they have one pissed off team coming to their house" (paraphrasing) My man JC said "Okay....be mad then" lmao LOVE.THIS.GUY.
Tells you something for the amount of work he does every play, giving 100% every time, yet stat wise, you dont see much at all. But vids like this that shows how much he is impacting every play. He knows how much he's doing, the dline room and coaches know, but yet still produces everytime without getting the big player highlight that you see qb, rb and wr gets.
You didn’t show the play but even on the 4th and 1 stop you were referring to he absolutely destroyed that play as well making Daniels have to run like 8 yards backwards before he could start going forward to try and pick up the 1st and cause of that he couldn’t get it Carter is unblockable
He jumped through his gap so quickly that the blockers barely touched him. He then disrupted the planned handoff so that Daniel’s had to keep the ball. But not even an assist on the tackle :(
The fact that this league let us get Jalen "Breadman" Carter, "San" Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJAWN and Saquon "I'll hurdle you backwards" Barkley in a 2 year span is absolutely wild to me.
I know a lot of these young football fans don't remember the Late Jerome Brown but,Jalen Carter is very close to his Talent Level! I said earlier, would have loved to seen the Late Buddy Ryan coach this group of young Talent, especially Jalen Carter!
Bro i remember seeing that in the game and thinkin wtf is he doing. It's really not like him. He had a chance to push that pile back and get the stop there. Not only did he just stand there but he actively jumped out of the way 😂
@@prsuave420he wasn’t pushing the pile back 😂 his read was to go outside in case Daniels keeps the ball. He wouldn’t have been able to move that whole pike and only risks injury tryingv
@toptiertech7291 buddy rewatch the play. It was 3 eagles on him on a 1 yard play. He fell forward 1 yard to make the td because of 1 lineman giving him a final push after getting stood up in at the goal line. You've clearly never played football 🤣. It's a game of inches my guy. He could have helped. That avoiding the injury arguement is weak. It's football. If your playing to avoid injury, you're playing the wrong sport
@@prsuave420 tell that to Tyler Lockett and Tom Brady😂😂 those dudes professionally avoid injury and seem to be doing very well. You just said a lineman came to push. Meaning if he got behind that pile the whole pile falls forward. YOU clearly never played sports above middle school
@toptiertech7291 wow 🤣🤣 this man is talking about a qb and a wr. I'm talking about a safety just standing around watching the other team score a touchdown. And not only can I tell you've never played a sport in your life but you don't even understand basic physics. If 2 equal forces meet they cancel each other out (like in the play we are discussing where the rb is stopped at the 1 yard line). Any force in either direction will push that pile. Which is what the lineman did while CJ was there before him just watching. Your clearly a moron.
I can't get enough of Jalen Carter. And Jordan Davis would be good to see, also. Some of the clips showed Jordan darting into the backfield past an offensive lineman.
Don't think people appreciate just how hard that is to not come off the field at all and still wreck the game... Glad he fell right into our lap during the draft.. same with Mitchell..
I don't know who designed the offensive line's scheme on that third play, but leaving a tackle to try to guard against Jalen Carter where he has no leverage is the reason Jalen Carter got the TFL there. The way that the tackle just puts his hand on Carter's side showed that there was no leverage whatsoever. Carter was literally already breaking through the offensive line when the tackle touched him. I understand the reasoning of the guard and center breaking off to become blockers for the runner down field, but the tackle should have been the one to break off with the center, not the guard. Carter is lined up closer to the guard's center of gravity so the guard would have had much more initial leverage on Carter potentially preventing that TFL from happening. The coaching staff knew that Carter was there, yet they still designed that play to make sure Carter had free reign of the backfield? That's just crazy to think about. Not saying that Carter isn't a beast, but this was definitely bad coaching over Carter making a play. Granted, Carter could have still made the guard look silly if he hadn't broken off the line and it could have still been a TFL.
As good as Carter played in this game, he’s still human at times. One of those times was on the play in this game against the Commies where Blankenship makes the interception - the O-line man pancaked Carter on that play. Which makes that int really bad from the Commies perspective, because there was no pressure up the middle from Carter.

It needs to be mentioned Jalen has only been in the NFL 1 1/2 season, he's a powerhouse, talented player/athletic
JC is a stud. His play is reminiscent of the late Jerome Brown
DT usually take 3+ to develop the technique Jalen has in one offseason, his leverage & hand usage is ELITE already.
