yo wtf, this looks awesome, i love how the environment and the background shakes to the beat, and the clouds going faster and stuff, this game has style, thats for sure.
@@RegularGillian The game is different than the og def jam games u supposed to fight according to the music u even get damage bonus if u sync it good whoever is winning the fight their song starts playing louder and the story mode is actually good lol u make your own label u sign rappers release albums and make millions a very cool concept however yeah nobody like much the concept of the fighting mechanics they should've stick to the originals but I still think it's worth playing the story mode it's pretty fun maybe they tried to do something new with this game
@@dilemma404 I know it's different, but it's a lot worse in every conceivable way than the previous games. It's a bit like excusing a Kinect sequel to a game that previously used a controller because the gameplay is different as it uses bad motion controls, it's still crap, they could have done the same concept without sucking at it.

all style and no substance unfortunately, a complete downgrade from previous def jam games.
Better animations than most modern games today. Impressive.
And they were terrible compared to the previous games. Just shows how much worse things are now.

The concept of the music being incorporated into the gameplay was an interesting idea but poorly executed and taking away BLAZING was a dumb choice
One PS3 demo I always had installed 👍🏼
This Def Jam was ok i guess, definitely nothing compared to Fight For New York
I remember this game was so disappointing after FFNY
When EA started to ruin their franchises
This one should stay forgotten. Such a downgrade to Fight for NY
another great game changed for _NO_ reason & ruined as a result
