What you do is absolutely awesome mate👍you also a lot of exclusive lo in your collection. I been rockin only RL since 93’ much respect 🇺🇸LL🐴2000 and forever✌️
ONLY bro? Im at only rocking Polo now since 2019/2020 but been rocking it and in love since a little kid…. Im just curious if you mean only as in MOST or only as in ONLY?
I honestly feel like most polo collectors are tacky, but this man right here surprisingly has some beautiful polo ralph lauren clothes. SOme of those pieces are so nice Id love to have them and wear them with my stuff.
Thanks Rev ! yes I am from Cambridge in England and that 'Old world' /University look probably resonate with me - As much as I love the big graphic/ very colourful 'power pieces' with big lettering or logos I have to say, for me, the pieces I really really like, and wear regularly are more on the English country gentleman look, tweed or soft wool things....often without any huge RL logo on it...the tartan check green sweater in this video with leather piping on the shawl collar is a good example....understated but still goes hard! I feel like since they did the retro / re-issue thing recently they got a bit lost but a while back , yeah, you could find pieces that were sort of funky but at the same time elegant. I always got a bit paranoid wearing the (few) power pieces I had....in case they got stained or ripped or whatever. Also something like a SNOW BEACH Raekwon top (amazing as it is) seems a bit 'showy' for my own preference.....different folks, different strokes I guess!
@@joe2grand Thats a mature way to wear ralph lauren and I must say since I posted this comment a year ago, my taste in polo has also matured. Im more of the dressy causual type myself without the big ponies and logos also now. I guess we all have to grow up some day.
There is also photos of the complete collection of the polo miniatures and some more recent painting/art i've done (Some Polo related and others on the graffiti/calligraphy tip) here : instagram.com/joe2grand/
Its not plasticine but another type called acrylic polymer clay---the name brands are FIMO and SCULPEY ---they have different grades/colours/ glazes etc
Would I be wrong in saying that most polo ralph lauren is not meant to be worn from head to toe. My personal opinion is its important as a polo collector to mix brands. I personally don't find it very easy to match polo ralph lauren from head to toe. I personally would rather wear some levi jeans then their bottoms and maybe some air max 90s with some of the polo shirts. And polo boots with a lot of the polo sweaters. But for the most part as a newbie collector myself, Im not feeling the look with most people wearing polo from head to toe, and wondering if it wasn't even Ralph's intention for Polo to be worn from head to toe.
Hey Rev - Thanks for the thoughts on it. First there isnt a hard and fast rule book of things you can or can't do...of course rules are meant to be broken. The head to toe thing just is for hard core collectors I guess who feel somewhat 'complete' if everything is Polo. Of course you are right to point out that Ralph himself did call upon many other brands for 'inspiration' or direct copies and indeed if you go in to a Double RL store they have old Levi's Jeans in there ...Its up to you how you wanna interpret it. I have a good friend whose approach is all Ralph but he doesnt have anything with logos on it ....get you head round that !
From one lo head to another you've got a fire collection big up from Atlanta
