6:30 Even the most basic of necessary safety is NEVER wear upper long-sleeve clothing while using a lathe, or at least roll your sleeves up above your elbows while using a lathe
I was more than a bit worried about the exposed drive belts everywhere as well. A set of simple guards they could have fabricated themselves would save a life.
You could easily implement a gyratory jig for the purpose of holding the disk while its being sanded. Sort or let the disk free spin while you position the angle grinder comfortably. Just a peg would do really.
If I looked at the part first, I would have assumed it was flattened first, then bent into shape with the pieces cut out, all in one go. Aside from that little bit of machining on the lathe, that's what I would have thought happened. The part was moving around a lot. I can only assume it was to allow various cooldowns/reheats between setups to give it more strength maybe?
I hope that, as a nation, they will earn money quickly and improve living and working standards. It is a very hardworking nation and I think they will succeed. At the same time as the West will fall into disrepair, focusing on form rather than content.
I've watched a lot of these videos of how things are made in other countries and this is the first one where one of the employees is wearing boots. Wonder what kind of Money they make. I've had a lot of shit jobs when I was young so I can feel for these guys.
As someone who has worked in manufacturing, machining, and carpentry I fear for their eyes and toes. I don’t see but one man wearing anything but sandals.
How do you work on the ground, in the dust, with open sandals and without the slightest protection? It sounds like a primitive society that should still be living in caves, even if provided with a hammer, dilapidated oven and other few essential tools!
Not much. But these men stand in front of the impossible and make something of it. Everyone dies at the end. What matters is how you lived in the situation you were born into

cool to watch but the complete lack of any safety gear or personal protective equipment is awful, your employer should provide safe working conditions for you so as to prolong your life and improve productivity
I cant imagine living in a country to where ya wore your pajamas to work. Their safety record must be inhumane. No wonder a 30 year old looks 80 over there.
How crazy it is that it's not for them more economical to buy the sheet metal from a steel mill, instead they employ lots of people and have to run demanding machines to flatten a railroad rail.
Now, @ 1:30 the steel is brittle enough, ( high Carbon Content..?) but then can be @ 3:05 can be Rolled. What is going on here. Can anyone explain the sort of steel that is seen here...???????

My favorite is all the open toed shoes
This is the first video of this kind where one of the workers has had some proper footwear (boots).
It's too hot in there for boots flip flops is a good substitute they've been there forever don't care...

No heat treatment or temper on the steel, makes those worthless for agricultural purposes.
Hopefully there's a trade in deal, cause the first rock you hit with that is gonna do some damage.
I like the not existing safety gloves they are wearing.
So this is where all the stolen railroad tracks end up. 😆😆😆😆😆😂😂😂

Pakistanis have removed rail tracks and sold them for profit, result is ever decreasing length of railway tracks.😂🤣
