So glad they fixed Body Change That was my number one wish and they did it. So it seems the way it worked in the previous patch was indeed a glitch huh.
I LOVED the balance and character changes. Even buffing Vegito and Blue Gogeta isn't that bad for the game, since they're so popular and they're pretty straight forward as opposed to other characters. Its a better meta then the nerfed characters, Gotenks hard nerfed, Cell hard Nerfed, Labcoat hard nerfed, (their C assists even nerfed), blue vegeta nerfed, Jiren 2L nerfed; all great changes. Great rout changes, great character changes/buffs. Only ones I didn't love was S Broly lv3, and Kefla EX buff. Just please, revert the lv1 changes and the spark change. Spark needs nerf, not w.e this is. And the game is great, much better than it was.
Not only did S Broly get permanent Ki charge, but now during the animation of the third hit of his autocombo he builds a full bar lmao he's a super battery now
Burter's 236S call now lasts long enough to last through Jeice's attack and keep going long enough to call Guldo to stun at the end of it for a free body change. Crazy
All changes were great/amazing. Loved the new routes, new buffs, and especially the nerfs to labcoat, cell, gotenks, as well as their broken C assist nerfs. Jiren 2L nerf, Blue vegeta armor nerf. All fantastic changes. I don't love S Broly lv3 buff, and Kefla EX buff. The only thing I hate, is level 1 changes, and the spark change. It was a near perfect patch until that.
I like how basically every patch since GT Goku came out was like “Damn are they crazy? What are these changes? This game is insane now!!!”. And I love every single one of them 😂❤
I think Cooler is one of THE biggest winners of the patch. He benefits THE most from being able to go into one H normal into his others and Cooler in Spark is a monster. He also benefits SO much from being able to special cancel into his others in Spark. Combined with his other buffs, I think he's top 10 at least and we might see a Cooler meta
I wouldn't exactly call him THE biggest winner. 214S now scales as 3 hits, so his reward on (j.)214L and (j.)236X is way, way down. Not to mention characters like Vegito, SS4 and A17 were buffed to high heaven in this patch.

KEFLA GOT MORE CANNON LETS GOO - Android 17's gonna show everybody why he won the TOP. Also UI Goku - Labcoat spent too much time in her lab and now her muscles aren't as strong as before, feels right idk
Its like overtime the characters are getting stronger like in the show and the patches reflect that like how on launch, almost all of these universal or character specific options didn’t exist and over the course of the game’s life, they got stronger and can do more ridiculous things
Important you didnt mention is that goku black's 2m has way more range. It didnt used to slide forward like that. He should be able to super dash mix midscreen with it now.
The Z Broly buff to his barrier is for 50/50 mix. Usually good Broly players will stagger threatening a grab but this gives him a good way for something consistent. Esc if you have a high blockstun assist like vegito b assist
You missed one buff with S Broly. The third hit of his auto combo just flat out gives him a full bar now as well. He has become one of the battery characters lol
S Broly air m buff is way bigger than just being consistency, he can now jump cancel air m into dragon rush for mid screen skd. Also its knockback is more vertical so he can convert mid screen air m into j.s, so his mid screen game is SO much better
Kefla, trunks, baby, ginyu, goku black and a bunch of other characters got most of the buffs they either needed or that I wanted. Base goku and bardock didn’t get any of the buffs they actually needed though sadly.
Nobody gonna mention Kid Buu's crouching medium being lore-friendly?! In the show, Buu can treat his body as if it can dissolve, detach, and regenerate/reform at will. But it is implied his foot-from-the-ground moves are his actual body, and most have travel time... However it is also shown in the show he can reform his body, so him detaching his foot, lunging forward, and his foot reforming to the rest of his body is technically lore-accurate.

People keep saying the game is worse. But literally everyone I know loves this game more and more every patch. This might even be the best patch for any game since I've been playing games. And I'm 41. It's insanely fun and addictive and leans into the IP in a great way. Especially the limit break and spark changes. When I'm down to my last guy and I power up I wanna feel that DBZ shonen protag energy

My only issue with this patch is the devs not wanting to nerf certain characters as a example they shot Cell and Gotenks they hit Jiren and just didn't touch Nappa and Blue Vegeta when all 5 charatcers where at the top at the same time and all of them nearly as good as each other.
Honestly, I don't understand with the Majin 21 change to the command grab. You already can choose not to do the follow up by not pushing a button for a the follow up, after the grab so it sounds kind of redundant to hold back

I kinda wish you would've went into a bit more detail with Hit, because now his auto combo can't be looped, but can be used for some nice combos while sparked. What are those combos? I have no idea.
Gonna be real they kinda kneecapped Yamcha. The buffs are wild but some of his stuff just doesn't work when in Sparking state (Kamehameha loops will drop for no reason?). Also the 6 & 4 inputs on spirit ball sending people so far away feels like a bug (it's so weird, feels like a hindrance). Day 1 baby mode complaining till arcsys brings him out of the doghouse LMAOOO gimme my pre-patch loser character back already man 😭
