Is that the same as 'The Adventures of Remo Williams...?' If it is, I THINK I saw that movie as a younger man and felt hugely confused about what I was watching... Oh, I get it, a little like THIS movie...! hehe
I thought you've already watched "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension", but it's not listed in your older videos. Either I'm mistaken, or I'm from an alternate timeline, or it got removed. If either of the first two is the case, it is a similarly weird 80s drama/comedy, but with a sci-fi twist rather than magical. Glad to see the Chronocube still exploring the galaxy (and watching classic films).
I'm holding back on Buckaroo Banzaï for the moment... To be quite honest, at this stage, I wouldn't know how to present that movie to them...It is the epitome of weird WTF 80's movies, even by the crew and creators's own admittance... I have fond memories of Buckaroo Banzaï, but to be honest, I'm not sure why... I think you're right, we might have covered this film in an alternate timeline, because it fells like it belongs on the show... So, nice eye there, and thanks for the reminder that there are still many, many stories out there that we have yet to cover...
Dear viewers, it would appear that our master Akrymonius' ancient, mystical memory has yet again been affected by the current time storm we are now traversing... In this very review, he mentions Kim Cattrall starring in Star Trek 2 : Wrath of Khan, whereas he was obviously thinking of her as Vulcan officer Lt. Valeris in Star Trek 6 : The Undiscovered Country, and not Kirstie Alley as Lt. Saavik the first, from Wrath of Khan. Please do not inundate our master with reminders of this obvious historical and cinephile fact, or lack thereof, which really makes him look rather foolish, publicly and for ages to come. Please note that his particular temperament would prevent him from ever fully admitting to this horrible, humiliating mistake... But rest assured, just know that, somewhere in the dark recesses of his cold, warped mind... He knows. He knows...
In your line of work, I’m sure it’s easy to get all those tangled timelines mixed up sometimes. I think I accidentally ended up in the one Akrymonius was thinking of, though. I think Kim Cattrall was also quite good as Rebecca in that version of _Cheers._ There were some interesting differences, but not really enough for me to stay for long. If you’re wondering how I got back to this timeline… well, it’s all in the reflexes. My character in this movie? I think I’d be Eddie. I like to be the guy who doesn’t garner too much attention, while still kicking plenty of butt. ☝️
@@0okamino That was probably one of the best responses possible to a major mistake made by our master and captor. "It's all in the reflexes..." I thank you for your hints at escaping this confusing time storm, you humor and patience are much appreciated...
@@TheChronomancersHey, there's ancient, there's mystical, and there's having an unconfused memory. Most of us would be incredibly lucky if we even get two out of three of those.
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. Thanks I enjoyed the watch.
Much obliged. We had a lot of fun making it ! Thanks for the taking the time to write in...
I am practically speechless
still a massively fun movie. you might want to try them out with Remo Unarmed and Dangerous another fun movie from the 80's

@@0okamino Amen to that, and thank you...
it's okay Kim cattrall and Kirstie Alley are "hot swappable" , mistake anyone could make 😊
