Magnifique hommage à ce merveilleux pianiste, vous avez remarquablement saisi les subtilités de son style. Merci d'honorer sa mémoire et merci pour toutes vos vidéos qui sont toujours passionnantes. Bravo !
Oscar Peterson said that the fingers should dance on the keyboard. The fingers of Rossano Sportiello prpvide here a ballet performance. Dave McKenna made great msuic but not always, My favourite cd is: Dancing in the Dark, The music of Arthur Schwartz, It is striking that very little is known about the personal life of this gangling long man. Those who know may write it up in wikipedia.
Hi Rossano, we saw you last night at Birdland with the Louis Armstrong group. We tried to say hello to you at the end but you went backstage so we didn't get a chance to talk to you. We're Tom & Anita from Hilton Head, we always chat with you when you're at the Jazz Corner. Great playing last night, especially on your feature number!
