Great job! One thing I have found in virgin mowing in Kentucky is to keep the front end loader down about as far as possible to catch stumps or rocks before getting to the mower.
In my part of Georgia we have always called it bush hogging, maybe that’s a brand name. I’m really liking the Summit tractor, I may need to get a job with them!
You are so fortunite to be able to own such a Beautifull property. There is a reason to work hard. To have & support a family & buisness & land like you do, you shud be proud.
Like the way the Summit handled the 4ft mower. You picked a heck of a field for this test. Stuff was thick and tall. Does get scary running a mower in the blind. Never know what might be lurking in the tall growth
The only thing I don’t like about this video is that you’re mowing that golden road. My honey bee would love to pollinate that beautiful blooming. I love it. I like the tractor a lot and I intended to buy one soon. I’m looking for better deals. Thank you sir.
Well Courtney another great video!! That definitely is a beautiful place and yes is God's country as mine is. Well little tractor did well didn't get stuck that's nice setup there guess you know you have the dream job there gettin to play on tractors runnin different implements. It is so peaceful out workin the tractor no matter what you are doin. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun enjoy ya'lls beautiful place
When asked where's Courtney? Ans, "Just looks at the tops of the trees shaking and that's where he's bush hogging." The deer and wildlife will love the mowed open trails. A mineral lick will keep the deer happy.
The last time I brush hogged something like that I used a john deere 8400 duals on. With a 20 foot cutter. I was lucky I did not bury that tractor in an area like that. It's good to see how the little tractors handle that tough grass.
Me too... but this handled the brush hog with no problems. I can't imagine a backhoe or post hole digger being any different!?? I "might" consider this over the larger model... but definitely going to wait to see the differences!???
Get in there when the ground is frozen really good and cut the whole thing low and it will dry out. With all that cover the sun never hits the wet ground and wind never pulls any moisture out either. Here video show casing the Summit tractor! It looks a great machine. I look forward to your future I depth review of this new Brand of tractor about things that you don’t like about it…. 👍👍🔥🔥
Your cinematography is at a very high level of professionalism here. Really conveys the simple beauty of country living. One suggestion: when clearing this type of terrain in an open tractor, please wear eye protection of some kind. You are cutting along the edge of the woods and often looking back at the mower. It's easy to get hit in the face by a branch. Ask me why I know this.
These Summit Tractors are in europe named Solis. Behind these brands is the Solanika Company in India. Yanmar is involved in the Company and i they have a big dealer Network in Europe. They sell a lot of these and i think they are very solid. I will buy a Solis tractor (like your TX25) next year 🤩 Greetings, Christian
Loving the deer property videos! I'm about an hour North of you and we have been prepping all summer as well. I suggest getting some paint/stain on that blind prior to elevating it. I just had to spend quite a bit of time repairing one we put out raw a few years ago. The amount of critters eating on that thing was amazing... Happy Hunting!
You're right, that is God's country. Same with my little farm, reminds me a lot of yours except for our Ky hills. Hopefully some of that will dry out once you get the heavy growth cut and the sun and wind can reach the soil.
I like the looks and features of the new summit tractor but not able to get one in Michigan. What a shame. I have projects I need loader box blade for but no one in my area rents them together got any ideals for me try while I wait for summit to grow. It seems to be the best deal on the market with its stock features.
Hi, I was really impressed with the way that summer tractor was working out there. I was just wondering how these support for maintenance is turning out for summit? My wife wants to get a summit tractor so I am interested And where we would take it to get it maintained or serviced?
Looks like it works very well for what you are doing with it and hop you get a nice deer this year but let the little 6 and 8 point buck's live so you can see just how they are growing up and staying on your land and all so put out a good feeder for them and you will keep the deer on your land and feed them all year round that is how I do it and I have a lot of deer were I hunt ......
Looks a lot like my land here in Hawaii did when I bought it. Alas Summitt has no desire to sell in Hawaii, so all my word was done by my John Deere 2025R.
Fun video Courtney! There's not much more satisfying than the before/after look of a job like this. I'd like to hear more "tractor music" mixed in with the spoken word and instrumental!
I'm seeing this video a year after you posted it with this one question, can this tractor handle a 5 foot bush hog along with hauling cut timber and pulling stumps? I ask because another channel said that the tractor bogged down significantly with the slightest upgrade and taller grass. I have a "RED" tractor now and would sell it in a heartbeat, if possible, to get a tractor with HST and electronic PTO. Thank you,
Very nice drone operations. What brand & model drone is it ? I've used a haybine to deal with this field condition. Then baled it for fuel. Could the Summit handle a NH 479 equivalent sickle or drum hay mower ?
I seen a comparison on the lifting capacity between the TYM T25 and the Summit you have and the TYM out performed the Summit by over 300 pounds which totally blew me away and this guy had a RK 24 which is a TYM and he had a pallet of paper over 1000 lbs and lifted it out of his truck and set it back down on the ground then lifted it back in the truck plus lifted it within 6" of maximum height. But like you say those don't come with rim guard or 3rd function. Try to get one of those Tym t25 and do your own comparison and see what you think.
Will you do any videos of your hunting or is that your getaway from everything if so I understand that, so just wondering if you would not asking you to do so
Is this part one? Part 2 then it wasnt flawless. Remember i said it was spongy? Well?? It was slightly more than spongy! When you say you were slightly concerned we know getting stuck is going to happen!!!
What I need is a mower for the front, one that will fit on the JD mounts. It can be hydralic, but electric would be better. Does anyone make such a mower?
Looks a a job for a Ventrac or Steiner. LOL Seriously I think your approach good. I think my 3560 Grand L with my front brush cutter would be too heavy for the ground especially when I have just over 500 pounds of Rim guard in each tire.
I planted my food plots here in Georgia at the beginning of the month, and of course now we don't have any rain in the forecast. I hope you have better luck. Do you film your hunts for TH-cam? Look forward to seeing how your season goes.
I have never heard of a city or town being called "gods country." Not even one in the Bible belt or a small town where a religious school is the towns life blood.
One man's paradise is another man's nightmare. It looks like a lot of time and treasure going into hunting. Wouldn't it be more profitable to clear the land and rent it to a farmer. Then go to a meat market and buy meat.
Great job! One thing I have found in virgin mowing in Kentucky is to keep the front end loader down about as far as possible to catch stumps or rocks before getting to the mower.
That’s a great idea thanks.
My land was like that and once I mowed it down it dried out very nicely. I didn't own a tractor and mowed 4 acres with a 26" dr mower.
In my part of Georgia we have always called it bush hogging, maybe that’s a brand name. I’m really liking the Summit tractor, I may need to get a job with them!

Dude this is soooo sweet ! Beautiful place bud

I’m more impressed with the Summit tractor I’m kind of watching for the larger 37 hp model !
Me too... but this handled the brush hog with no problems. I can't imagine a backhoe or post hole digger being any different!?? I "might" consider this over the larger model... but definitely going to wait to see the differences!???

Good idea Gene!

Summit should consider adding a sturdy grill guard as standard equipment.

That brush hog seems to be working well

Love the deer hunting prep videos . Keep it up
Feels good when a project does right.

Very nice!
Great Video's Courtney!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm jealous, I still can't get into my back forty. Weeds and Willows are 6 - 8' tall
Beautiful property 👌 ❤️ 😍
What a brush hog is made for! Thanks!
Now that's some deep brush.
It was thick!

My kinda property.....NO neighbors 😲🤣
Haha agreed!
@@GoodWorksTractors going to be me some day. House in the country

Yeah we definitely let ‘em grow, but my son shot his first buck this youth season. A 2 year old 8 pointer. He is thrilled and so am I :)
Feeding deer isn't always legal anymore due to Chronic Wasting Disease. So be careful to know your local regulations before you start feeding.
I need a Summit Tractor.
Looks a lot like my land here in Hawaii did when I bought it. Alas Summitt has no desire to sell in Hawaii, so all my word was done by my John Deere 2025R.
Pretty good video man
Thanks!
Fun video Courtney! There's not much more satisfying than the before/after look of a job like this. I'd like to hear more "tractor music" mixed in with the spoken word and instrumental!
I think I would take the back guard off the shredder and I think your mowing results would be much better
I'm seeing this video a year after you posted it with this one question, can this tractor handle a 5 foot bush hog along with hauling cut timber and pulling stumps? Why do you not have your food plot seed on your website?
It looks like a really hot bedding area for whitetail.
Beautiful!
Very nice drone operations. What brand & model drone is it ? I've used a haybine to deal with this field condition. Then baled it for fuel. Could the Summit handle a NH 479 equivalent sickle or drum hay mower ?
Great quality video! I wouldn't imagine the TX25 would have an issue with a 5' cutter?

Nice, that’s a lot of weight!
I have been VERY happy with my TYM 474 that I bought new for $26k. 175 hrs on it so far and no issues.
The ark tractors do come with rimguard and rear remotes.
I think it's great to leave lots of native grasslands, so much support for local species.
Will you do any videos of your hunting or is that your getaway from everything if so I understand that, so just wondering if you would not asking you to do so
You must really like that Summit. Haven’t seen you use the 1025R for a while.
He is getting paid to feature it.
Better hope yellow jackets don’t make their way up those shorts. I wear pants when mowing now. Lol Long story, but yeah. Watch for yellow jackets..
Do those tractors have belly mowers
Did you plant some wild flowers earlier in the year? How did they turn out?
Not yet
Where is your flail mower at, go slow and you'll get done soon... like the Summit TX25, there is a place in the market for it...
Awesome
Thanks for the video, Curious as to why you chose a brush hog over the flail mower?
Wow, this looks great, how does the tires do with Mesquit bushes?
Is this part one? Part 2 then it wasnt flawless. Remember i said it was spongy? Well?? It was slightly more than spongy! When you say you were slightly concerned we know getting stuck is going to happen!!!
What I need is a mower for the front, one that will fit on the JD mounts. It can be hydralic, but electric would be better. Does anyone make such a mower?
Ps....drum mower cuts to the side..
Looks a a job for a Ventrac or Steiner. LOL Seriously I think your approach good. I think my 3560 Grand L with my front brush cutter would be too heavy for the ground especially when I have just over 500 pounds of Rim guard in each tire.
That would be business as usual for my Ventrac.
How did your hedge turn out?
Fantastic, up to 14’ tall
Being the soil is so fertile, are you near a river?
Are you going to be a Summit tractor dealer?
I planted my food plots here in Georgia at the beginning of the month, and of course now we don't have any rain in the forecast. I hope you have better luck. Do you film your hunts for TH-cam? Look forward to seeing how your season goes.
Haven’t filmed them before, but would like to give it a try
I’m very interested in purchasing this tractor off you I have a very nice trade in for you
🇨🇦
Used to run a Massey Ferguson with a woods 8’ rotary and man - first time cuts were like a box of chocolates ………
I have never heard of a city or town being called "gods country." Not even one in the Bible belt or a small town where a religious school is the towns life blood.
I’m glad you learned something new today!
All that equipment you own and have and you dont have a lane shark? what gives man?
One man's paradise is another man's nightmare. It looks like a lot of time and treasure going into hunting. Wouldn't it be more profitable to clear the land and rent it to a farmer. Then go to a meat market and buy meat.
You might get stuck
Definitely a possibility!
