In this video... I've got a message for your soul. A message about well-known advice that we've all been told... but that's destroying us and our creativity. If someone tells you to niche down... don't take it to heart and apply it to all your creativity. Whether you're a photographer like me, or a painter, or a writer...or any other kind of artist, this is something you need to hear.
Personally when I "niched down" in my business en-devours, I caught myself trying to niche down my lifestyle, which personally burdened me and wore me out bad. I think niching down during work to things that are growing is fine, but we are supposed to be diverse people, and when i stopped being the person that I "HAD" to be and instead became the person I am, and want to be. I became much more confident, and successful.
