I wish I would have waited for this version. I prefer to sit lower and use my knees as a gun rest. I would also like to see a height-adjustable version that telescopes like aluminum crutches. That would probably decrease the weight rating somewhat, though.

Good points. I would look at the lower turkey seat for deer hunting, the 12” seat width is an issue for me.

So Nick, if I chop the legs shorter on my standard, will it be the same as the turkey seat? I find myself often wishing it was shorter, usually because the legs hit me while I'm walking with it on my back.
