- Now that the level cap has been raised to 99, the fastest way to train is the New Great Ape Festival. If you have a decent strike level, it will take you about 3 min to complete. Each completion gives you about 85k-100k experience points! HAPPY TRAINING.

Use Burter if you don't have a strike character. Its the fastest way without having 100 strike
You also forgot to mention the Towa and "Why You!!" alternative
Have 2 Towa's in your and equip "Why You!" Z-Soul do this mission when you start it The Towa's "Z Soul" activate giving you 4 Ki Bars already, also when you kill a Great Ape you gain Max Ki thanks to the "Why You!" Z-Soul
The "why you!?!" Z-soul will refill you ki after you k.o. an opponent. It's very helpful for this pq and will save you a few seconds.

I used my shenron wish to level up my character one level higher at level 80...
Now I made it harder for myself.

well anyone who doesnt watch the channels who show that part will see my comment and do it so i did it for others sake and never claimed credit
Best thing to do is to use the dragon balls to put 100 into strike supers (just respec after you're done with grinding if you don't want to use strikes), after that just use 2 Towas, because you actually get more exp when you're *not* alone, you got 86 000, you'd have gotten at least 108 000 if you had others with you, the max I got was 132 000 and I get 123 000 on average. With 100 in strike (good strike clothes help too) you can just come up to the apes, and dish out your Blue Hurricane, it's a 1 hit KO, even with their full stamina bars

You can also use pose I and burter is the fastest in the universe to increase the power of the tornado

Marko Radetić I use Towa x 2 + Mach Dash + Aren't I Nice Z soul + 100 in strike supers on a large human male. One blue hurricane per ape with mach dash in between and it takes no time at all.

Honestly, I use the original great ape festival I can do it in 3 minutes and guaranteed to get 80,000 - 86,000 xp and beating it in 5 mins get you a time patroller where you can get dragon balls
If you have decent strike, you can do this new great ape in 3 min and end it with 100k-120k exp. I have zero strike so I can't demonstrate it
Here is a piece of advice, save your dragon Ball wish until you get to level 98 then wish to level up. To get to 99 from 98 takes 2.2 million so it's better to save your "I WANT TO GROW" wish :)

for those who do not have the dlc,you can just play parellel quest #52 Great Ape Festival and you will get 60,000-80,000 xp on average if you complete it
Rhymestyle, when you unlock Old Kai's final quest when he gives you unlocked potential, it jumps you up two levels. Why don't you just level up to level 97, then go to the mission and get 98 and 99 for free? Instant level cap reached.
SS3TRE simply bacause no one is patient enough to wait for lvl-ing up to get it, they want it as fast as possible so they wont even wait for 1 more lvl , tho that would be pretty smart to skip that number of exp points
SS3TRE It doesn't matter. You can use that 2 level skip anytime, it won't change the amount of time it takes to reach 99 since it always takes 1.2M exp
Zenzo Thunderboard Yeah, I thought of that and I wouldn't be patient enough for that either. That's when I realized "Unlocked Potential is a transformation for every race, but I also wanna get to level 99 quick, but at the same time use the Old Kai's luck enhancing trick to get every item I don't have."
So I plan on leveling my strike/malee based character to 96, using the dragon balls to get him to 97, then finishing the mentor quest to reach 99 while unlocking potential unleashed. I also have a character under level 80 (which is when you're offered the last mission when Old Kai is your mentor. Any level under that you can talk to him normally) to use that lucky drop trick to get the rest of the super and ultimate attacks I need.

You could also do the regular Great Ape Festival, it gives a SLIGHTLY lower amount but you can get it done quicker and easier
I reccomend the original great ape before the return version. I also use that broly mission w the dragonballs . Very helpful in levering up my freiza race character Ecylypse . My human race is at level 99 and he kicks absolute ass . I'm planning to run a saiyan after my freiza race is done.
You also get even more exp if you end the mission with full health. Pop a capsule or use Quick Sleep before the finishing blow.

Blue hurricane with male human melee build smacks that great ape down in 3-5 seconds.Takes about 1.30-2min for the whole mission and gives you 120.000xp+

Bro this is wierd. Great Ape Bardock spawns in the landing pod map in both of my gameplays on the PS3 & PS4. I don't know why Nappa is there instead on your gameplay footage. 🤯🤔
Rhymestyle you can also accomplish this by using the ultimate "Burning Spin", it acheives the same effect :)
Its weaker and not as stable
I was able to clear this mission in less than 5 minutes just grabbing the tail repeatedly, that really beings their stamina down fast, and the final blow when they're out of stamina does a whole lot more damage it seems
Why does no one ever just grab the tail in grate ape fights? I've never understood that while playing online.

Xistund Grab their tails when they lose their stamina. That's the best time to do it :P
Xistund If you have high basic attack, punching is faster than grabbing the tail when they have stamina.
To be honest, I find grabbing the tail more effective when the ape *doesn't* have stamina, because it takes a good chunk of their health and sometimes it's a one-hit KO.
Rhymestyle, I grind out the bardock vs broly mission on namek and got to say it's a lot faster.
I can do whole fight in 30-35 seconds and it gets 43k xp almost all of the time, so the whole fight plus reload screen is about 1 minute...so your looking at about 2.4m xp an hour and its super easy.
I have 6 ki bars and 100 in ki blast supers, could be done with less...stamina, attack, strike and health are irrelevant as broly hardly ever touches you.
I use super vegeta 2, elite pose and emperors death beam with z soul "you shall be my firdt victim" which gives you full ki from the start.

Funny Story, I have used only strike supers before and if you time it right you can hit a great ape with super spirit bomb and it will drop his stamina fast. I wish I could have recorded it, but I messed up on the recording time.
This levelling system is a but bland and archaic. Grinding shouldnt be this big of a deal in a DBZ game. They just used a standard levelling system with no twist on it or anything to make it unique. We need the UT system where we got to see all of our stated improve in real time as we leveled up. Perhaps you could set attribute points when you make your character and that would determine how your character would grow with each level up, and maybe you could change these attribute points whenever you want.
That would be corny asf to change anytime you want it would be too easy they want the game to last long
Rezy Glare How would it be easy? Youre just changing what your character specializes in, youre not actually increasing their level or experience points. It would be similar to this game except without having to collect the dragonballs.
I have some extra advice, equip the z-soul *sob*...i'ts all over... to get a massive damage boost and just spam blue hurricane until you break a great ape's stamina.
I HATE Great Ape Nappa because of that bullshit AOE roar thing he does.
I downloaded DLC 3 for ps3 but it was just 124 kb and only got the costumes, this is bullshit!!

For those of you who don't have the DLC (like me), an easier way is to play the PQ where you fight Broly. Not the Dragon Ball one (Although that works for Lv. 1-40 characters from my experience) but the one where you just fight broly. You have to talk to Broly in Tokitoki City and he'll challenge you I believe. Gives about 50-60K EXP and takes about 1-3 minutes (depending on your stats and race. Takes me about 1/2 minutes with a SV2 Ki-Based Male Saiyan that has Super Vanishing Ball). Went from Lv. 73 to Lv. 82 in about 45 minutes.

Or you can do this mission with a squad that actually knows what they are doing and finish this PQ in a 1:30. If you get the UF you will still get roughly 100k if you complete it without getting hit!
Symphonic destruction works ok if you don't use blue hurricane
My strategy is. Pick the character you want. Then get two towa's on your team. And toes has a z soul that boosts your ki by 2 bars at the start. So two towa's in your team means 4 ki bars. It'll be easier and you won't have to charge.

Silly rhyme, you get less exp. when you're alone, being alone just gives you an "achievement" and the same with throwing the tail. So you can get just as much exp. with throwing or without.
You can see on the results it said grappler and outnumbered which are "achievements"
If you don't have a character with enough attribute points on strike supers, you can select burter, he is very effective as well
I found I actually completed 5 Broly quests to every 2 of these. So about 90 k 2x vs 55k x5. In the end, getting a Dragonball every 3x might be more worth it (especially when you get down to leveling and resets with the DBs) and obviously the Zeni boost for completionists. Launch's set was particularly expensive.

you know if you have a human with unlocked potential your ki will stay the same, no spam
Also, if you're leveling up a saiyan, just have super saiyan equipped along with blue hurricane. That way you can spam blue hurricane more.
The best way to level up with this mission is exactly as Rhymestyle says. But you get like an extra 20k points for doing the PQ with your mentor. Excluding elder Kai of course. And if you don't take any damage. I was averaging 122k points an attempt.
This helped me so much! I had around 5 level 99 characters by the time I was done farming.
Anyways, my favorite Z Soul right now is Elder Kai's Hmm... It's a long sequence of different hums, actually. Either way, it makes resurrecting a K.O.'ed ally faster, and after 2 minutes and 40 seconds, I get a high stat boost, along with a rapid boost in Ki regeneration. My Ki can even regenerate while I'm using Unlock Potential, after ~3 minutes, of course. It also lasts the rest of the match, so have fun using it!
If you use it during this mission, you're sure to have a "Transformed Finish" for more points. When Hmm is active, it's near impossible to lose the transformation. Well, from my experience, anyway. I haven't lost it since my acquisition of the Z Soul. Good luck out there!

You dont need blue hurricane. Just have lots of basic attacks and beat the shit out of the apes plus their attacks are easily read so u can block and continue the onslaught.

Ya know. If you don't wanna waste a wish on resetting your characters stats after leveling this way I've found an alternate.
Your stats affect other characters like Goku too so if you want to you can use Burter for the blue hurricane move and still get the points to level your MC this way.
If I grind my ass off to get to level 93 and THEN get the Potential Unlock, then what the hell is the point of having a 2-level increase AFTER all of that?
Unlock potential will be gidd for a melee character because punches keep the transformation going
the opponent's online, They go down quick using blue hurricane with super saiyan skill with 8 ki bars. On attack is ko. When full majin tank uses evasive moves 2 blue hurricane. This move is OP.
The non dlc ape fest is done in 1:40(without patroller) - 2:15(with patroller) and gives 60k(without patroller) - 80k(with patroller) this gave 86k in 5:41 with the patroller...

The ranking system is kind of shitty. I beat the mission within 3 minutes with no damage taken by anyone and got an A.
Hey guys i wanna share this to everyone, the criterias to get the max amount of xp (criterias that you dont see or get everyday):
Down to the wire: complete quest with 10 sec or less remaining
Timely: perform 3 perfect guards
Persistent: perform 3 guard breaks
Conqurer: defeat strong enemy
Reversal: defeat enemy stronger than you (like level higher than you)
Ki repeller: Repel 20 ki blast (just move around or fly into those yellow buggers)
Ki blaster: hit with those yellow buggers 20 times
Evader: use Evasive skill 5 times
Close call: complete quest with a smidge of health remaining (like 10%)
No sweat: complete quest with 80% health remaining
Grappler: throw 3 times
Outnumbered: fight alone (no picking teamates)
Master asisst (?): Master join the fight (possibly when your health is low)
Z- asisst finish: defeat last enemy with z-assist
Combo adept: 20-hit combo
Combo fiend: 50-hit combo
Combo King: 100-hit combo (Z just pops up lol) (to get this you need maiden blast (ultimate skill) and stam for teleport to spam it (fastest way)
Super user: hit with super 10 times
Utimate user: hit with utimate 5 times (or 3, one of those, my apologies)
Lead attacker: dealt the most damage
Lead Vanquisher: destroyed the most people
Theres another one but its only for the 30 small buus quest where you defeat all 30 single-handedly but its only for that quest
Note: The quest, return of the great-ape fest (dlc quest) is possible to do all or most of these. you should more than likely get 100k+ xp

If you grab the great apes tail while they're attacking you can take a chunk of their stamina just so you know.

Or if you have 100 basic you can rush in, hit him in the face and everything, and grab his tail once stamina is gone. It's a one hit KO
If you dont have blue hurricane or arent a strike based character. Just use burter, his strikes a fairly good and he uses blue hurricane.
since i have zero and dont have blue hurricane, i just play as burter
For the Ki blasters out there, Giant Storm works well for missions where spamming AoE is your best bet. NPCs are too stupid to dodge it usually, and it has very good damage for a not-too-bad animation time.
heres an alternate to respeccing your guy and grinding blue hurricane, use burter first costume, just did it and it works plus it lets you grab the tail for the kill :)
Another tip if u do it with broly too u will get a LOT OF POINTS!!!!!!

I usually being a team and my score isn't that affected. Actually when I being them it's easy to not get hit so you aren't focused on. When I get untouchable I usually get about 127000 on my score
Just to help out the commoners. I found this out no thanks to all these fast leveling videos. Pretty much all of them leech Blue Hurricane, which is obviously a no go for ki blast users.
Strike Supers build = Blue Hurricane
Basic ATK = Punches and/or Tail Grabs
Ki Blast Users= Spam Normal ki blast attacks

FUNFACT FOR EARTHLINGS if you have unlocked ponteniel (misspelled) you can use it and pretty much never lose the transformation so it's like a free stat buff (FUNFACT again using the z soul might as well should make so you can recover ki while using the transformation)

about dragon balls idk if its a glitch or not but on quest 28 after collecting two of the first three dragon balls the thierd appears to be in the cave which you have to go threw the portal to get the third dragon ball ball but I cant,,??? any oppions?
I actually tried Blue Hurricane and found it ineffective, In fact for me punching them in the face then throwing them was an equally as fast tactic. Only have about 60 to basic attack on the character I did this with and it worked out just fine.

I really don't get how this quest works. I beat Nappa, Vegeta and Baby in 3 minutes and the quest just ended there and gave me a C ranking -_-

Because I'm trying to make a One Punch Man/Saitama character, my basic attack and strike supers are each at 74, so it's extremely easy to beat this PQ with your method. Lucky for me that the blue hurricane is a strike ultimate!

i really need help. i havent beaten the game yet and im having trouble with all the buus. how should i set my stats if i am a saiyan the first time.
i'd suggest equipping the "why you" z soul when grinding that mission you wouldn't have to waste time charging after beating the apes and have at least one towa with you she revive you insanely fast if you get k.o.ed.

I think your ps4 has some hardware issues.
He took 5 min and 41 secs for on quest do the original great ape fest and if you get z rank you will get 70 000 or 80 000 the max is over 90 000 and u might get a dragon ball and it takes 3 min or less
for some reason it barely does any damage when I do it...do I have to be a Frieza race or can I be a Saiyan? because I have a level 40 Frieza race and my Saiyan is level 86
Is there any way to do this mission with a Ki based character that doesn't involve wasting time hunting the dragonballs for respecting the character twice? If so what is the best Ki moves to use?
if you KI based why didn't you use super Nova since two take the armor and health, we'll at least for me it does and I get roughly 100k-110kxp
What do you think is a good z-soul to use in ranked? I'm using Perfect Cell's "What a Handy Miscalculation..." I'm not sure if I should use it though because it makes me look like a scumbag
