Everyone who watched this interview: please request your pastor and/ or parish staff to advertise this podcast with whatever intro they want to add about it AND be sure your diocese knows of Your recommendation and awareness of the importance to teach on spiritual warfare. Then give it a couple weeks or months and then follow up if necessary that this be promoted/ advertised throughout your diocese churches and newspapers. Then you will be a part of the solution. The Church just gave us the easy catechesis. Let's get it in the hands of everyone, fellow Soldiers of Christ. Ora ET labora, everyone. Jesus, I Trust in You. And pray for this faithful priest since someone will be unhappy this series was released.

I'm a Catholic from India.. The Exorcist Files podcast is really amazing.. it gives a very different picture the things associated with demons and totally different from what we see in the films.. It totally changed the perspective of my life.. I started to see things in a different manner starting simple from coffee, sugar addiction to more and more.. thank you so much Father for this work which you have done.

Uhh I was really wanting to watch his podcast until I heard that it would be like you were actually watching an exorcism happen. I was made to watch the exorcist as a child at like 11 years old and it traumatized me. I still can’t see pictures from that movie or think about it too long to this day and I am 30! I slept in my parents room for months after that. So I don’t think I’ll be able to listen I mean I know it’s educational but it’s too scary for me. I can listen to him talk all day long ABOUT it but I can’t handle during i don’t think.

I had a similar experience at around the same age with a documentary about Nostradamus. I'm turning fifty next year and have lived with the same trauma since then. I've only recently (this month) begun listening to exorcists. Don't be afraid, please watch. Fear is a tool the devil and these talks have benefited me no end.

Wait, these are recordings of exorcisms? Or recreation/dramatizations of them please. Some of the voices appear to have post production effects on them, which makes me think they are dramatic recreations. Unless demons have reverb, echo before the voice and aural exciters as an attribute of their nature. Which could be the case.

@@jamescohen Fr. Spoke of this issue in a talk. The Church does not allow recordings for several reasons: 1) To protect the dignity of the possessed person 2) To prevent it from ending up in the court of law 3) To Protect the person/case from people who have nefarious motivations, etc.

    • @jamescohen
      @jamescohen ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@Suki0428 Thank you for your reply. 1) if the possessed person post hoc decided that their case might be a cautionary tale, they may want it heard. As I understand it, The Exorcism of Emily Rose was exactly such a case where 'Emily' felt her case could help many people if they knew about it. An exorcist who I spoke to some months ago, told me that particular movie was based on a real case and was very close to the real event. 2) that one I understand. If anything needs an exorcism today its the entire criminal justice system. And after that, the CDC and all regulatory bodies for health and law. 3) what could be a more nefarious purpose than demonic possession? One might imagine after that they wouldn't be too concerned about mortal things.
Frankly I bet they do record the exorcisms anyway. How could they not. But for internal use only. In any case I'm very much looking forward to the movie, Nefarious. Conceptually its exactly what one would imagine it should be.
Thanks again for your thoughtful reply.

Jesus taught that all believers shall drive away demons. Enough of the catholic church's keeping believers frim practicing the teachings of God. Placing themselves between believers and God is a great sin, the great harlot is that sinner.

@@susand3668 Jesus said it does. And I have seen thousands of miracles done precisely in the way Jesus said they will. The removal of demons is routine for believing christians, just as Jesus taught. Catholicism puts it's doctrines before the teachings of Jesus. There is an eternal price for those acts.

Dear@@francissweeney7318, I;m sorry. I should not have been so blunt. I remembered seeing what happened to our "healing ministry" when they took on "exorcisms. They had no authority, and after a time, the members began to suffer from all kinds of problems and fell away from the group.
I just think you should know -- the "removal of demons" is NEVER "routine."
As for the Church that Jesus founded before His Passion, Death, and Resurrection, if you are a Bible-believing Christian, you should be able to see that the Church still continues from the time Jesus called it into being until today -- and the gates of Hell have never won over His Church. Jesus raised up human authors to write down His Inspired Word, to discern which writings from the first century are to be included in His Holy Bible, and He has used His Church to copy it without error and maintain it incorrupt. The Catholic Church is the Church of the Bible -- she is *your* Church.
I am praying for your safety in the Holy Spirit!!

That man is “a liar” he said a couple of weeks ago that, “it wasn’t his mission to actually drive out demons”. It is an exorcist’s mission to drive out demons. That’s exactly what Our Lord’ did.

You might want to rewatch the entire commentary he made on the topic. What he said was perfectly right. He said it's not an exorcists goal to drive out demonds per se, his goal or purpose with the ritual is to find out the reason why the possession happened in the 1st place , coz demons are legalists strictly speaking and they will not leave whatevers rightfully theirs , so the Exorcist looks for the reasons and cause of the possession so he can help possessed claim back their self that's taken over by the demon. Ones that's done the demon HAS to leave .
This is the explanation Fr gave which makes perfect sense & the right way for the Exorcist to think coz it's Christ who ultimately drives out the demon. The exorcist helps in finding out the reason so it can be reverson and the victim is freed because of it ..

I can't help but wonder if Adrain is wearing pants. I mean you only see him from the waist up. I am concerned with pants. One time I went up for communion and as I knelt at the communion rail and leaned in a bit, it pushed my gut in, this loosened my pants which began to fall!! It could have been quite a moment, fortunately I was able to prevent an embarrassing moment by summoning my quick but old altar boy cruet juggling skills and reaction times. I now recommend suspenders for those who are girth challenged, unless you are a Protestant apologist. Then it doesn't matter, since for you, your pants being on fire and such, quick removal is to be desired.
Despite what Francis may have said during the halcyon days of his pontificate, about communion and such, and even though he was in full blossom of the best in Jesuit thinking of our day, pants on fire is a thing. Just ask Joe Biden, they call him smok'n Joe. He's a lead tester of asbestos briefs, both Jokey and Boxer.
