My neurologist just happened to have a contact at Cleveland Clinic, and that's how I met my epileptologist. Then through her I've been able to schedule surgery with Dr. Bingaman! Love him!!
This man performed an operation on me after years of dealing with severe epilepsy. At the time, I was in 8th grade. Today, I am a 29 year old man who has not had a seizure since June of 2005. Thank you Dr. Bingaman!
Dr. Bingaman performed this surgery on me over 12 years ago (2012) at the Cleveland Clinic (my epileptologist in Florida knew Dr. Bingaman and urged me to travel to Cleveland to have the surgery, so I listened and have been seizure free since)!!! I do still take medicine (Lamotrigine), but for preventative measures. I have hardly any side effects from the medicine, so I don't mind...and won't complain seeing as I am seizure free and don't want to make any changes! It was something I put off for too long for fear it wouldn't work and that I'd still take medicine, but I gave in once the seizures became too frequent and too controlling over my daily routines. I thank God for my epileptologist in Florida (Dr. Locatelli), and you, Dr. Bingaman, for the blessings you are both gifted with. I am truly blessed!
Dr. Bingaman is a wonderfully skilled surgeon with a kind heart. I am so thankful that I found him. He, with God guiding his hands, changed my life on 12/27/19. I feel as though I have been let out of prison. Not only is he extremely skilled as mentioned above, he has also show great patience with my never ending questions. Thank you Dr. Bingaman.
This November of 2020 made 19yrs of my surgery! I live in Alabama and my neurologist sent me to Cleveland to have surgery! The neurology team is awesome! Much love 💕 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️😊🌺🙏🏾💪🏾😍🤎
This doctor performed my epilepsy surgery. He is a genius surgeon, he really knows his stuff. He's really nice in person too. Good sense of humor, good bedside manner. 3+ weeks past surgery and I am seizure free so far. Thank you Doctor Bingaman! :)

I’m having surgery too.. having hippocampus removed. An hopefully I’ll b seizure free..but I’m really scared that I’ll loose my memory .

This guy is a child. He was probably in diapers when I had my RTL. But it sounds like he knows his stuff.
He did my epilepsy surgery Dec 2015. Really awesome surgeon. He's a great guy in person and one of the top epilepsy surgeons in the country. Maybe even the world-at least he is to me!

my neurologist told me that my seizures are coming from both sides of my my brain does anyone know what will happen when I have this surgery done
Did you have it done?
If it's coming from both sides, you can't really remove both sides of your temporal. You need either half.
