- This time I used some copper pipes.
I have to admit that the sound of copper is not nice :p
OK, let's say good bye to coppers...
I improved the hammer action, but I think I need to change the whole structure of the keys and hammers to improve the stability.

I love all these projects, but I was a bit disappointed that the videos weren't build logs, since they're called "Making the [...]".
Actually I love the sound of the Copper Pipes, it sounds like a mellower version of a Keyboard Glockenspiel.
It also reminds me of a Celesta, a little bit
For those wondering whats being played, I dont know and apparently its just an improvisation. But it really reminded me of "Sinjid shadow of the warrior battle 1 music" from an old browser flash game i used to play when i was a child. It doesnt sound exactly the same, but it has the same vibes. if you search that you find a video of it. Maybe it tickles your fancy if you liked this improvisation.

Just for your information, google "棒の音階計算" and visit the website on the top. Put the length of the longest bar in the white box on top, then press the grey button next to it. You will see the result in the table right side. If the length you put was, for example, A, 0=A 1=A# 2=B 3=C 4=C#...

To make a piano with guitar strings? If you want to build something with guitar strings with keyboard, perhaps it means that small clavichord or harpsichord, I guess. Btw, do you know 50% off sale has been held on Renaissance Workshop Company (please google it if you have an interest)?
