Working with soft pastels (Unison, Jackson's Art and Gallery)

Never properly worked with soft pastels before, so I'm giving this a go live on camera.

Soft pastels zijn ook voor details te gebruiken hoor, er zijn veel mensen die super realistisch ermee schilderen. Maar dan werken ze vaak met een stukje afgebroken pastel waar een scherper randje aan zit, zoals bijv Emma Colbert doet met haar dieren portretten. Maar ik vind jouw werk juist verfrissend en leuke manier zo met de brushpennen!

Lovely! Did you fix it with anything, as it is staying in your sketchbook?

In this case I didn't, but I can recommend putting grease proof paper in between the pages, or you can fixate it with a spray especially for pastels.

Enjoyed your video. I would advise you not to blow the pastel dust....not good for your lungs. Tap the book on the table and let it fall instead.
