Second time my Bosch (I will never buy one of these again) drain has frozen. This is the second time in less than five years that I have had to do this. Your video saved the day.!
The click really did matter. I had tried to fix this a few times watching other videos but after cleaning out the gunk I didn't correctly click that plastic widget in. This one solved it. I cancelled the order for the new dishwasher. Thanks!
Thank you! We found a penny clogging that little hole at the bottom. Thank you for your explanation as to where to find the gray cover in the back of older models. That is what I had. I only needed to watch the video once to understand what to do. My young adult son watched the video with me and helped extract the offending penny. Thank you for giving me the confidence to conquer the beast.
Solved my problem, thanks! It ended up being a combination of a bay leaf stuck in the garbage disposal and a piece of fabric and what looked like a rock stuck in the turbine past the filter. I used my shop vac to clear out the water by the turbine and then used tweezers to pull up every little floaty I saw sitting in there just in case.
Thanks for this video. Found two small pieces of glass which were interfering with the pump impellor. Also important to click in that impellor guard. So far so good!
Great video! I found a small piece of porcelain in the drain. The machine won't start properly if you don't hear or feel the click so that is absolutely essential you have it click.

I have a bosch dishwasher with error-24 and cleaned out the drain 3 times with still the error. I've been by-passing it for over 3 years now by doing this: turn on the dishwasher on/off button, start the dishwasher, then listen for the 3rd start sound(water), which happens at about the 2:18 time. When you hear it start for the 3rd time, open and close the door and press start. It then runs the whole cycle with no error and I don't have a drain problem.
Your comment helped me! Error24 has been going on with my dishwasher for a while, for no apparent reason. It was draining perfectly. I checked all possible issues and found nothing wrong. Like you said, simply opening and closing the door during startup, does the trick. I have no idea why or how that even does the trick, but it just does 😂 Thanks!
I do the same routine, but I open the door at about one minute after starting (which is when the third impeller sound occurs with my Bosch) and leave the door open for ten seconds. Closing it right away seems to cause the E24 code. I wonder if it is a faulty control board causing this problem, since my filter, impeller and drain line are all clear and unblocked, and my impeller cover is firmly snapped in place. In any case, I've been doing this for four years and saved having to buy a new dishwasher or call a repairman, an expensive call in my neighborhood.

Nice solution👍 I wonder if that white plastic impeller cover is loose?

you're a legend mate, I had the exact thing happen and this was the only thing that let it do a cycle.

This is a major design flaw with Bauche.
Yep👍
