I saw the movie yesterday and I honestly was SO STRUCK near the ending! Like, I'm an adult and feeling Anxiety THAT MUCH still hits hard. I won't spoil it, but yeah.
I’ve seen it on opening night and with most of us being older than our previous selves when we saw the predecessor has definitely opened our minds when it comes identity and sense of morality. Although there were less people than I anticipated in my chosen theater, I wasn’t disappointed, not in the slightest. 😊

Not to mention random public cruelty when it comes to crowd mentality'- Quasimodo's humiliation is extra horrifying (and underrated in how awful it is) when you consider most of those people weren't intentionally "evil" or setting out to torture- they were just ordinary folk hopped up on overexcitment/stimulation and intoxication that turned on someone who stood out and happened to be vulnerable. The whole scene was a powder keg that only needed one match lit to turn.
As a child, you're invested in the adventure and vibrant animation of "Finding Nemo." As an adult, you come to appreciate Marlin's journey of letting go of Nemo, and accepting that he needs to let him make his own decisions.
yeah, Marlin's journey is also admirable for me, how on that path his love for his son Nemo led him to face many dangers, as a child I didn't realize that much
Absentee parents: Sometimes, it's not easy being a single parent, especially when it comes to abandonment. It really takes a long time to heal a wound created by an absentee parent, but I know that, yes, it doesn't excuse a child's behavior. It depends on the impact it has on the child's life. I feel sorry for what Jim Hawkins went through. Watching your daddy walk out on you when you're young can leave emotional wounds and scars. This kind of thing still exists in this world. Tyranny: This is all about power and control and wanting to instill fear, intimidate, and dominate others. Standing up for yourself is not always easy, but like what the video said, it takes just one brave soul to take the stand. Mental health: The movie Inside Out shows how moving can really affect a child. It would take them a long time to adjust and adapt to a new environment, but when one reaches out to loved ones, they can get through anything 😊. Problem parenting: It is really wrong to take and force a child into isolation. Mother Gothel was a real master manipulator. Those kinds of parents exist in this world today.

Agreed! That's why I love those Disney movies. They never shy away from mature topics, and treated its young audience as people, not delicate flowers. Once I get to work at Disney, I'm going to create movies exactly like those ones, touching on serious topics and the like.
I love how Disney didn't dumb down their films just because they were aimed at children, but understands that they're able to understand complex, mature themes.
As an autistic woman I identify a lot with the movies that cover prejudice and disability 😢 I also strongly identify with lilo because of how she was treated by other kids
I love Inside Out 1&2. I have never seen a Disney movie to make me want to cry, as much as Inside Out 2. I love what I do for a living, but working as a dishwasher made me realize even I suffer from having anxiety attacks 😢😢😢. Inside Out 2 is the first Disney movie that I could truly connect with on an emotional level
As someone with Anxiety and Depression, Inside Out and Inside Out 2 really hit home with me, because sometimes I feel like crying, but I can't, and sometimes I have moments where I feel like I'm not good enough, and I put a lot of pressure on myself like there was one time near the end of my third semester of college, I was doing my project which was a bunch of labs, and I was literally on the verge of a mental breakdown because of it, like I nearly had an anxiety attack due to it, but when I got it done and did my final exam, I felt so relieved, like I felt like I could finally relax, and it was like I was calling Joy to give me that sense of calm.
As the great Don Bluth once said “kids can handle anything you throw at them, as long as you give them a happy ending”. Disney has thrown A LOT of stuff at kids. From moral messages, to death, to poison, abandonment issues, it’s a long list. And kids today and yesterday are better for it

@multiverse_media2023 Yeah, his mistake was releasing his films on the dame day as Disney's. I personally think he should've aimed for releasing them on good Friday.
Agreed, 30 years on, and Mufasa's death still makes me cry. My high school English class was shocked when our teacher revealed that the plot was basically "Hamlet."
@@trinaqI heard about that. It seems like the 90s and to some extent, the 2000s had a lot of movies based on Shakespeare and classic literature. I also remember there was a movie called Kimba the White Lion that had a similar animation style.
@@trinaq And LK2 was based off Romeo and Juliet (which seemed to be the big trope of the 90's and early 2000's that everyone was in to, as James Cameron had to add it in order to get his movie on the sinking of the Titanic funded).
14:52 I felt so bad for Dumbo in this film. He lost his mom shortly after his birth and ostracized from the other elephants just because his ears are bigger than normal. 🐘👂😭
I thought Turning Red deserved more than a brief mention about generational trauma. That was its main theme. The film never got the love it deserved due to Covid and not being released in theaters as originally planned.
Not only that, but covering female puberty and menstruation, topics that are NEVER covered in media. I deeply wish that it had come out when I was a tween in the '70s & could have watched it with my mother. Her version of "the talk" was to hand me a pamphlet from the '50s. If we had this movie, SO many problems between us could have been...well...not.
I'm surprised that Atlantis: The Lost Empire wasn't mentioned in some way, mainly for how the main villain was willing to wipe out a whole civilisation just so he could be rich. And Tarzan should've been mentioned as well, especially with how it tackled losing a child, via Kerchak and Kala, and adoption, along with what Clayton was doing when revealed he is in fact a villain.
You know, this was actually very important for Disney and Pixar to use their theatrically released animated feature films to discuss these serious issues with parents and teachers because the Earth could fall into a dark curse if everything keeps going as it currently is so far. I hope we the people can fight back fast enough in time before the beginning of the next century (if there will ever even be one). Thank you guys for this useful video on what animation studios are doing for the planet and its people and biodiversity.
I instinctively knew that Encanto was gonna be on this list and somewhere in the top half, but WHY DOES IT HAVE TO MISS OUT ON THE ELUSIVE TOP 10 BY ONE SINGLE SLOT!?!?!!!?!!!!?!!!?!??? well, at least I can look past that as all of the top 10 (maybe par Tangled) have all deservedly earned their spots
a little bit of everything on this list is the entire vault in any movie you get any issue from enslavement bullied ridiculed loss or death of any relative beaten up physically emotionally mentally threatening insults from any antagonist
My hat’s off to you, Emily. Of all the videos in this channel I’ve seen, this is one takes the crown for most advanced summary. With those movies, old and new, it makes me realize that with many that I’ve grew up watching and some that I added to the collection for my memories, it now became rolled into one. It is crazy how films that are targeted for the younger audience can affect the older demographic because they too were once young themselves and many of them had experienced the events that were shown to them. It’s true that some topics are a bit tricky to handle but eventually, children will go through those series of events as their lives progress over time. Therefore, it’s why these movies are so memorable because it reflects on how we dealt with them and for those who will encounter them along the way. Although I’m not what I used to be, I’ll never stop watching animated movies for they made me who I am today. Thank you, from all of us viewers.
I like that all these Disney movies don’t hold back serious issues because it teaches children all about them and how to deal with them and that’s why I think it’s great that Disney didn’t hold back on anything.
Me, too! I totally agree with that. I've watched a lot of Disney movies since I was little, and they taught me life lessons and how to deal with them, making me the person I am today.
I watched Encanto for the first time my friend group and all of us have generational trauma of some sort. There was an entire room of crying people when the crap hit the fan during that movie. So so good.
"Ill remember you though.....i remember everyone that leaves" is the qoute that i use now...because of all the Exs in my life who have wronged me (over discord of course)
No wonder it hits me on an emotional level now, as my Nana had Dementia, and on the evening of 04-10-2023, she left us, and we had held a memorial service for her on 04-14-2023, it was hard for us, but we were able to get through it😔
No. 14, Hiro losing his brother Tadashi and their parents is like Peter Parker losing his Uncle Ben and his parents: "Richard and Mary Parker" it's glad that he has his Aunt Cass and Baymax though. And, I would've loved to see what happened to the parents after they left the two brothers with their aunt if the subsequent series hadn't ended in season three. And in the two-parter finale for the "City of Monsters" arc in Season Two probably changed Karmi for the better that would've wanted to motivate her to want to become a superhero on her own before joining and aiding the team after she and Hiro went from being academic rivals at SFIT to finding solace in each other and becoming close friends/crushes and after what Diane "Di" Amara (who pretended to be the "real" Liv Amara, who inspired Karmi's love for bio chem techology and all) did to her as her award for being her intern at Sycorax to probably seriously scarred her so much and didn't even get a chance to say Goodbye to her new close friend: "Hiro" because of her parents' fear and concern for her safety to had her removed from SFIT and moved from San Fransokyo which she'll probably have to work hard to earn back so she can make her full comeback there and even become "Sunfire" in private secret from her parents too

No. 30, It might not be one of Pixar's strongest films from what I heard before but I really like the serious issues this film tackled and the music video "Steal the Show" by Lauv there 🌊🔥❤️
I liked Toy Story 3. It was the perfect ending. They didn't need #4, as they've already gone through a kid growing up there didn't need to be a repeat.

As someone who is turning 60 in 2 weeks, let me tell you that you don't have to say goodbye to ALL of it. I'm a responsible, married mother of 2 adult children, but still love things like cartoons, games, and even stuffed animals.
Honestly, I'd even like to add "Ralph Breaks the Internet" for dealing with insecurities. Like yeah, it was inside the internet, but there were also emotional and personal insecurities between Ralph and Vanellope. This actually kinda forshadows the insecurity virus taking advantage of both - though the latter also got targeted due to her glitch. Ralph was also struggling with letting Vanellope live her own life vs staying with him every minute out of work hours, and felt like if she stayed in Slaughter Race all the time, she may no longer want to hang out with him or maybe even forget about him. The movie gets a lot of hate, but I personally enjoy it. Plus when you think about the whole deal with Ralph's insecurity, it really can add up to how a Wreck It Ralph virus made sense as a "final battle", so to speak.
Number 16, I wonder if in the upcoming sequel Moana 2, Moana's father will see the spirit of his dead friend and will have to find the strength to forgive himself, for Moana's future and goals.
One thing I appreciate about the song "Savages" from Pocahontas is that it shows the hate Both sides have for each other. Both sides are angry and their actions make sense to themselves, and view the other as savage. Pocahontas is the only one who steps away from the hate to see both sides as human and try to end without violence ❤

There’s actually a theory for Encanto that explains that Maribel doesn’t have a gift because she’s going to be the next Matriarch of the Madrigal family since her Grandmother doesn’t have a gift either.
Me too 💯 it even got a series that subsequently followed the events of that too (that deserves a rebrand revival series and a better series finale) and a spin-off series on Disney Plus, called: "Baymax!" 🤖🦸
I have ADHD and often feel that people don't understand that my mind can work differently than the average person. It is good they have a movie like Finding Dory that touches on the topic. I always thought The Lion King was about protecting nature/the circle of life. When Scar became king and disrupted the circle of life the Pride Lands had an environmental disaster, but when Simba became king and restored balance the environment was restored.

@multiverse_media2023 Yeah, his mistake was releasing his films on the dame day as Disney's. I personally think he should've aimed for releasing them on good Friday.
@@Dragonstorm62190
Or better yet, people should look away from “happy” Disney movies first, and look to emotional movies like Don’s instead.
The Lion King as it dealt with losing a parent at a young age and having to carry on responsibilities that you’re not ready for.

I felt so bad for Dumbo in this film. He lost his mom shortly after his birth and ostracized from the other elephants just because his ears are bigger than normal.
🐘👂😭
Baby of mine- adult sobbing. That one gets me always.
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Lilo and Stitch is my favorite Such a great story real but with scifi/fansty
loved Onward it deserved better than being sent to streaming because of covid but at least we got to see it.
I got to see it before the theaters closed.
Wow a top 30, that's new! Also I love how you started this list off with Elemental 😍
Claude Frollo is easily one of the most evil Disney Villains ever.
And the most hated. He is just like Trump, and I hate it!
I love both Inside Out movies
I'm excited to see what serious issues the third movie will tackle next either if it's about young adulthood or parenthood there
I thought Turning Red deserved more than a brief mention about generational trauma.
7:38-7:42 the way Emily says that 😂
I love that too!
“So long, partner”

😢😢😢
With 2 daughters now in college, this one hurts on a whole new level.
Thank you guys for this useful video on what animation studios are doing for the planet and its people and biodiversity.
video idea: top 10 most underrated Disney sequels
also the Pixar ones hit hard😭
Disney Pixar
Peoples who continue to say that "diSnEy mOVies aRE JUst fOR kIDs" are just ridiculous
I see Brother Bear, I clicked
I still love Disney
Me, too.
Losing a parent. Happy thursday night, Emily, take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
Despite their recent roadblocks post the pandemic, they *can* be quite effective with their lessons and themes. 😅
I always loved Dumbo because as a kid it taught me that being different isn't a bad thing.
Wall E was more climate change dealing than Cars 2
I love the Hunchback of Notre Dame
They show us how we can deal with our problems by trying to prevent these things or some of them from happening
I love it when they add more things to their lists
“Maybe this is what happens when you grow up…., you Feel LESS JOY…..”
-- Joy, 2024 Sequel
That quote cut deep, and is so true😢
Facts!😢
Cars the rescuers & Brother bear I grew up with all those movies and still enjoy them, to this day they were definitely worth mentioning.
I instinctively knew that Encanto was gonna be on this list and somewhere in the top half, but
WHY DOES IT HAVE TO MISS OUT ON THE ELUSIVE TOP 10 BY ONE SINGLE SLOT!?!?!!!?!!!!?!!!?!???
well, at least I can look past that as all of the top 10 (maybe par Tangled) have all deservedly earned their spots
If cars 2 tough us anything it’s just to be ourselves and taking care of the environment
I love Finding Nemo
Me, too.
a little bit of everything on this list is the entire vault in any movie you get any issue from enslavement bullied ridiculed loss or death of any relative beaten up physically emotionally mentally threatening insults from any antagonist
Thank you, from all of us viewers.
the next right thing is so sad wanted to hug Anna
As the video went on, the more I cried haha
Oh Up and Wall E and Big Hero 6 in particular
BH6 even got a subsequent animated series and even a "Baymax!" spin-off series on Disney Plus there too 🤖
I love both incredible movies
Me too 💯🦸
I alwayd wish they kept Kenai human and did a musical film focusing on his relationship with his brothers.
So so good.
Brother Bear is my favourite.
Top 5 spin-off series surpassed the origins:
1. Lego Ninjago (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
2. Lego Nexo Knights (Power Rangers)
3. Lego Monkey Kid (Journey to the West)
4. Pretty Cure (Sailor Moon)
5. Bakugan (Digimon)
You could argue that Incredibles tackled genocide as well. Qith that whole computer scene where it showed all those dead supers
Can you please do Top 30 best Pixar Villains of all time?
Disney Pixar
"Ill remember you though.....i remember everyone that leaves" is the qoute that i use now...because of all the Exs in my life who have wronged me (over discord of course)
Do a Video about Teen Movies That Dealt With Serious Issues
Coco also deals with Dementia
I noticed that too!!!
No wonder it hits me on an emotional level now, as my Nana had Dementia, and on the evening of 04-10-2023, she left us, and we had held a memorial service for her on 04-14-2023, it was hard for us, but we were able to get through it😔
@@leemorrell16:33
I love Lilo and Stich
Unless Disney does a live-action remake that might botch what made that world so great there 👽🐶
Everything on this list is a fact.
What about the Fox and the Hound that was dealing with racism and friendship.
29.58 your feelings are completely valid feel what you need to
SO TRUE
And in the two-parter finale for the "City of Monsters" arc in Season Two probably changed Karmi for the better that would've wanted to motivate her to want to become a superhero on her own before joining and aiding the team after she and Hiro went from being academic rivals at SFIT to finding solace in each other and becoming close friends/crushes and after what Diane "Di" Amara (who pretended to be the "real" Liv Amara, who inspired Karmi's love for bio chem techology and all) did to her as her award for being her intern at Sycorax to probably seriously scarred her so much and didn't even get a chance to say Goodbye to her new close friend: "Hiro" because of her parents' fear and concern for her safety to had her removed from SFIT and moved from San Fransokyo which she'll probably have to work hard to earn back so she can make her full comeback there and even become "Sunfire" in private secret from her parents too
I love both Frozen movies
Unless they do a live-action remake of the first film though ❄️⛄
Calling all animal lovers! Cody Roberts of Daniel, Wyoming has yet to be punished for his horrific abuse towards a wolf cub known as Thea. We must not allow him, nor any other torturer of animals get away with only a slap on the wrist. If any of you care, please fight that real justice be met! Keep this story alive, ask for better animal protection laws, continue to protest until he is given server jail time for his awful crimes. Don’t let Thea die in vain! Demand that her murderer is brought to justice. That’s what it means to be a Wildlife Warrior!

I got teary eyed so many times. I don't know if there should be so many tear jerkers referenced in place.
Great concept for a video 👏👏
I still think they should have found someone else to play the genie instead of canceling the second live action Aladdin movie😢
Why do you say that?
Coco it's a good Disney movie and make you cry 😢
It's already halfway through 2024 and still no Big Hero 6 2😢
at least it had it's own cartoon series
@@Sisselynn Oh, well at least there are some individuals out there who still acknowledge that exists and should get a rebrand revival series there here #BigHero6TheSeries

33:04 No wonder why HoND is one of the darkest and serious Disney movies. It dealt more than just religious extremism and misuse of power. The film also dealt with the themes of racial prejudice, disfigurement, ableism, sexual harassment, religious hypocrisy, authority abuse, etc. Inside Out 2 being so successful means that people have started to take mental health seriously which is great, the movie can save lives @Theater kid hormii 9 days ago (edited) a lot of them are missing:
Cinderella deals with the step parenting and physicological abuse,
Beauty and the Beast : toxic masculinity, outcasting, ignorance and women being forbidden of being educated
Hercules: sibling rivalry, adoption and fight for power
Tarzan: foster families, ambition, loss of a son/parent and self discovery
Peter Pan: coming of age, fear of growing up
Little Mermaid: over protective parenting and prejudice
Home on the range: money laundering and smuggling
Toy Story 2: abandonement
Bambi: loss , hunting and the cruelty of man against nature
I love how Disney didn't dumb down their films just because they were aimed at children, but understands that they're able to understand complex, mature themes. 8 days ago (edited) I love Inside Out 1&2. I have never seen a Disney movie to make me want to cry, as much as Inside Out 2. I love what I do for a living, but working as a dishwasher made me realize even I suffer from having anxiety attacks . Inside Out 2 is the first Disney movie that I could truly connect with on an emotional level As the great Don Bluth once said “kids can handle anything you throw at them, as long as you give them a happy ending”. Disney has thrown A LOT of stuff at kids. From moral messages, to death, to poison, abandonment issues, it’s a long list. And kids today and yesterday are better for it9 days ago (edited) Absentee parents: Sometimes, it's not easy being a single parent, especially when it comes to abandonment. It would take them a long time to adjust and adapt to a new environment, but when one reaches out to loved ones, they can get through anything .
Problem parenting: It is really wrong to take and force a child into isolation. Mother Gothel was a real master manipulator. Those kinds of parents exist in this world today. Despite their recent roadblocks post the pandemic, they can be quite effective with their lessons and themes. When Disney movies dealt with serious issues, really taught us more and prepared us to see somewhat the reality, when we saw these movies as kids, Disney shouldn't stop touching on serious topics in its movies. That's how they gave us moral lessons through this. Thanks for including Inside Out 2, it means a lot, the health mental is very important As someone with Anxiety and Depression, Inside Out and Inside Out 2 really hit home with me, because sometimes I feel like crying, but I can't, and sometimes I have moments where I feel like I'm not good enough, and I put a lot of pressure on myself like there was one time near the end of my third semester of college, I was doing my project which was a bunch of labs, and I was literally on the verge of a mental breakdown because of it, like I nearly had an anxiety attack due to it, but when I got it done and did my final exam, I felt so relieved, like I felt like I could finally relax, and it was like I was calling Joy to give me that sense of calm. Lilo and Stitch is my favorite Such a great story real but with scifi/fansty video idea: top 10 most underrated Disney sequels

Hey, wait a minute!
I'd say growing up is not easy. I turned 18 today, a young adult, so I have to say goodbye to my childhood.
I love Aladin and return of Jafar
Number 16, I wonder if in the upcoming sequel Moana 2, Moana's father will see the spirit of his dead friend and will have to find the strength to forgive himself, for Moana's future and goals.
Very very great epic list I like it a lot very very great job miss mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever 😊❤
Andy will get his toys from Bonnie in TS5. He'll then pass them on to his kids.
I love how u mentioned Aladdin ❤
Anxiety the Orange Emotion gone complete crazy near the end of that movie Inside Out 2.✅️✅️✅️✅️✅️
Anxiety damn near wrecked Riley. She caused her to have an anxiety attack, which that scene had me straight up crying and literally shaking in my seat, my best friend, Alex had to literally hold my hand to help comfort me during that scene, it was that intense😢😢😢😢
alma was originally meant to have a longer apology and claim that pedro would be ashamed of her - when i heard the original speech it hit HARD i was tearing up
I regret watching onward. Plus I actually like Cars 2 more than the first Cars movie.
I love Up
There's also Cars 1 and 3 which deal with letting go of the past and I think Toy Story 4 is an example of found family.

There’s actually a theory for Encanto that explains that Maribel doesn’t have a gift because she’s going to be the next Matriarch of the Madrigal family since her Grandmother doesn’t have a gift either.
Disney is certainly good at tackling mature subjects then say Dreamworks
I love big hero 6

I have ADHD and often feel that people don't understand that my mind can work differently than the average person. It is good they have a movie like Finding Dory that touches on the topic.
I always thought The Lion King was about protecting nature/the circle of life. When Scar became king and disrupted the circle of life the Pride Lands had an environmental disaster, but when Simba became king and restored balance the environment was restored.
