Although if they sent any other heroes, the A class and most S class wouldn't have beaten Kabuto. According to the virtual training thing, only a select few were able to beat kabuto

Saitama vs. Subterraneans was a great introduction to the masterpiece that is One Punch Man.
Makes me think of what could have been if the subtrianians weren’t just a dream. If the show leaned into supperheros fighting in an apocalyptic war to save humanity, were Saitama can be hurt if enough power is used aginst him, but his punches are still absolute is terms of damage.
