I think my first game was Woody Woodpecker Racing on Playstation 😅, then our Playstation broke when a friend's sibling tripped over the "yellow/red/white cables"/RCA cables that were connected to the "box tv", getting the ends snapped/stuck in the TV, rending those ports useless since we couldn't manage to get them out. Next, I have strong memories of some Smash game on my cousins's Xbox, and then spamming some Pikachu "electric sneeze" move from a high platform 😂
I had seen my brother play pokemon red on gameboy and he let me play pokemon yellow when I was about 5. Or it might have been guitar hero since the first one came out that same year and my brothers let me try that too.
My first 2 video games I can vividly remember were Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt on my brother's NES back in the late 90's. Our parents couldn't afford a PS1 or a N64 at that time, thankfully a neighbour gave my brother his NES with a bunch of games for cheap like Zelda, Castlevania and DuckTales.
Based on what my dad has said before, my first time playing a video game may have been a Toy Story game on PC. I was about 3-years-old, and he wanted to see if I could interact with the stuff on screen with a mouse. Other than that, I played a lot of my sister's games when I was little, so Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, Sonic 2, Lion King, Aladdin, and Toy Story on Genesis were all part of being some of my first gaming experiences

I was fascinated by the garbage chute, for some reason. Wanted to slide down it, I guess. And I remember a walk with my parents, down to the block one rainy evening, the water running down the asphalt. The streetlights creeped me out, because I found blue-ish streetlights to have a sort of haunting, spooky vibe. Anyway, I digress. My brother would find the key to the living room, to play early in the morning. On our tiny, somewhere between 12 and 15-inch TV ("On our big, enormous 12-inch screeeen") That was our main TV until the year 2000, no joke.
For me, it was either SMB, SMB3 or Duck Hunt on my grandpa's NES. There's a picture on me young playing either of these games. ......or.... maybe it was more the old Mario Kart-ish Disney racing game "Walt Disney World Quest: Magical Racing Tour" on the PC.

Maybe it was Reader Rabbit Math,Treasure Mathstorm, Frogger 1997, or Frogger 2? But much like Mal, I had Sega Smash Pack 2 and I remember being like 3 or 4 and playing Sonic 2 in my early years. Also RealOne Arcade was a BIG part of my early gaming as well.
I'd say one of the closest of my first experience with video games is playing with my older brother on the Sega Megadrive... and it was likely Mega Bomberman (Bomberman94) or Micro Machines. And as a wee nipper back then, I wasn't very experienced, even on multiplayer.
I have similarly blurry memories but I remember my Uncle doing the infinite lives trick in world 3 of Super Mario Bros then handing off the controller to me, and I remember being afraid of Bowser’s laugh in Mario 64

I don't know. I don't really remember a time where I didn't know who Mario and Sonic were. I grew up with a Gamecube and I remember having my Dad coming home with Mario Sunshine, borowing Sonic Adventure 2 from a friend and buying Luigi's Mansion for my brother. No idea which I actually played first because I was too stupid to actually play so I just watched. The first game that was mine though was Double Dash and the first game I chose for myself was Ty the Tasmanian Tiger.
My first game was a PS2 game called Strawberry Shortcake The Sweet Dreams Game or something like that. I also have a weird memory associated with it. Way back when I was a kid my mum and biological father needed money or something and sold the original PS2 but not the game. Several years later I think after their divorce we finally got another PS2 and some other games for it.
My first video game was super mario all stars and super mario world because my dad got me a SNES bundle for xmas when i was 4 or 5 years old. The banzai bill scared me so much though in the first level of super mario world that my dad say i cried and didn't play it again for a week

Tetris and Yoshi's Island, BUT A) that tetris might have been a jank game because there was one level where just TOUCHING the bottom cause a game loss. To this day, I don't know why. B) I never fought any of the bosses in Yoshixs Island, too intimidated. (I was 5-6, okay? 😅)
