  • In this episode we run through some recent changes to our Jayco Journey which might help improving your setup. From saving over 30kg on chairs and tables, a great outdoor clothes line, internal shelving and even a tyre pressure monitoring system. These changes have made a huge difference!!
The main aim of the game was to streamline our setup and pack down, keeping things organised on the trip and reducing weight! We had to get that weight down to make sure we were legal and good to go... and it worked!
Great news everyone, we have returned from our trip to Cairns and it was fantastic!! Everything made it there and back with out a drama which is quite impressive considering we travelled just under 7,000km.
As you will see there are a few projects to come improving things even further, a few surprises and even a few more mods to our Jayco Swan. There is a lot to do over the coming months.
To help you out we have also broken into chapters so you can skip through to what section you need to watch:

Love the way you explain things.
Been going to hat head for over 30 years love the place, there every Christmas 7 families ✅
Did many of your conversion on our jayco dove.
But now we have upgraded to a Franklin razor 20.6 and a M-UX.
This year will be there first trip to the hat.🎣😎
Looking for ideas for off the grid ideas and weights for travelling.
Still haven’t done the extra solar panel, extra battery, and inverter.?

I have had the Dune chairs for many years. They are no longer comfortable and they are heavy. I will be replacing them soon.

How does the pajero go towing the van with the 285s? Notice power loss, fuel increase? My pajero currently tows our jayco with 265s but was considering going up to 285s...

Actually I was thinking about that the other day, it dropped off my list. I do have a few videos to do on the Journey so might even try to do that this weekend 👍
