Holding onto your past? That job you never got? The person that left you? That family member who hurt you? Let them go.
I didn't want to watch. I wasn't going to listen. I wanted to hold on to my silent anger towards God because my past wasn't what I thought He said it would be.
I thank God for your obedience for this gift of His spoken word to us who need it. I have some Bible studying to do. I have some words to proclaim and I have MANY thoughts to capture because they are contrary to the Word.
I haven't opened one gift for Christmas as yet but Thank you, my Father, for this gift I have received through Your vessel!
As an 18 year old, these preachings are starting to prepare me as a woman of God. Realizing the past relationships I had, this message has really dawned me to not look back at it because God has a deeper calling in my life. I don't know my purpose yet in my life but all I know is that I'm looking forward to it. Thank you so much for these messages. Because it is such a blessing to devote to the Lord upon the topics that is in our generation. You and your husband are such a blessing and I pray more blessings to come in your family as well. 😊
This was for me omgggg I have been battling this for almost 4 months now , I keep running back to two men from my past to fill my loneliness , but it never works out I know God wants me all to himself.

I fell in love with an atheist, Heather. Jesus was calling me out of it from the beginning, but I ignored Him and got myself all done up. I feel so, so stupid. I didn't know I could hurt this much. Your sermon helped a lot though. Thank you very much.
I know that feeling. Tamara from the real called it missionary dating. Converting a non-christian man to a believer. It can be very draining and God saved you from many more years of heartache and headaches. With time your heart will heal & God will provide you with many more blessings!

Sugar Jones I love that God is forgiving and even in our disobedience he can still take any situation and use it for our good. This to me says he can take a negative and turn it into a positive. The positive is you can now trust God and the plans he has for you. Pray for your friend to have a softened heart for the holy spirit to inhabit

It’s funny this is my second time watching this because I’m feeling lost. I’ve let go of people that hurt me spoke to and opened up about how I felt and asked them for forgiveness and forgave them. Now when she said “ your probably unhappy because your living in your past” and I feel like I’m living in the past with situations that happened to me and a certain relationship 😭

I feel like I needed to hear this message today. I recently lost a relationship with someone who I thought I would be with forever after 8 years together. Long story short he's with someone else now and I think she is exactly what he needs. I was just so wrapped up in what me and him had I wasn't ready to let go and tried to "fight" to have him in my life. I tried one last time today to get closure from him or to see if we could work things out but I guess he was able to do what I couldn't and let go of the past and finally embrace his current life. Despite me acting on the desires of my flesh during this break up through yelling and saying things I didn't mean to him and his new GF I am now ready to trust in God and let go of this relationship and my previous attachment to him.

My bible plan I finished today talked about this, It relates to how we find comfort in bondage even though god provides for us because of some temporary comfort that was in our bondage, Like how in Exodus the Isrealites wanted to go back to egypt and missed it because they were able to eat food and live knowing what was gonna happen, despite seeing gods handy work they didn't trust his voyage for them so he didn't give them the land he had promised due to lack of faith.
Thank you. This one helps me this time. I had a hard time cutting off my communication for someone whom i broke up for almost 2 months now. But, Just yesterday I did it. I should have done it after the break up but didn't have courage to do it. It made me go back to the past. With God's help, I did what I suppose to do. This is the 3rd video I've watch from your channel. It trully helps. I know not only to me but to other ladies who wanted complete freedom from their past. God bless you and your ministry. Thank you so much for this! I've been writing in my journal to my future husband and told him of a guy friend I had when I was five (I'm twenty- one now). Everyone we knew said we'd eventually get married. He ended up moving away a few months before we turned six. God shut that door then. I've been trying to open it out of stubbornness. I was too afraid to trust Gods plan for my life. I'm NOT afraid to trust him anymore. I'm tire of holding on to something that will literally NEVER happen. I want Gods best blessing for my life and it starts TONIGHT.

Yesterday I had written in my journal about how unhappy and lost I feel where I currently am. A lot of bad things have been happening in my life lately, and it's so hard to understand why... Thank you, Heather, for this reminder. I need to remember that God is leading me and I need to stop dwelling on the negative... I need to let go and let God.

Heather I'm 30 now , I have no friends and my life is lonely. Just the thought of what I lack in my life makes me cry. I never feel like God truly cares for me. I'm tired of begging and praying and honestly feel like I'm being punished. I watch videos like this all the time but still don't have God's attention. I'm tired of being lonely and pathetic.
+PIER J Hey hunny. God loves you & is for you. Sometimes we can be so caught up in our own feelings that we fail to feel his presence. He promised that he will never leave or forsake us . Hold on to that promise & I encourage you to start reading Job, Isaiah, & Psalms. Talk to him like a best friend ,ask him to hold you in his bosoms & comfort you. And most of all never stop praying that is our communication with him. I know when I get weary I just say "Have mercy & help me Lord". And I call on Jesus. Pray & ask him to bring Godly people in your life that will help you grow closer to him. Tell him that you are lonely & you feel punished he hears you & he cares. Im praying for you & I love you sis.
Hey Heather, I have been there and sometimes it feels like nothing will change. Try to just breathe and ask out loud for Jesus to use you. Sometimes it is hard and lonely for many seasons before the change comes. Try to hold on, we need you Heather. There is a spiritual battle on earth and in heaven. We love you.

It's crazy how God works.. I was avoiding to watch any of her videos that had to do with relationships being that I just got out of a long term relationship.. I didn't want to hear it. So I chose the video with a title that didn't mention relationships... and LOOORRRDDDD GOT ME. I'm glad I watched though. I really needed that today.
God bless you! My biggest challenge has been my mentality. In my case, I had to leave him because I felt the Holy Spirit cautioning me, now I feel like I've hurt him and I just can't let go of all that and the mistakes in my past...

Thank you, thank you Jesus for this word! Thank you, sis - this came at the perfect time. I made the decision 4 month ago to end things with my baby's father and pursue Jesus and the will of God in my life. Due to circumstances we have had to continue living together all this time, until God blessed me with a wonderful job opportunity and I have to move 1 hour out of town. Now the time is nearing for the actual move and Satan is causing havoc in the apartment. We started praying together and really putting Christ first in our relationship as co-parents and we have had such peace until now. Now we are at war. I know God does not want me to take him into my future and I thought that by introducing my baby's father to Christ I would be able to establish a different kind of friendship and ensure that when my baby is with him, she is still in a Godly household. But now he resents me for that I think, and he is being so mean and almost kicking me out of the apartment at this stage coz his new GF is not comfortable with the fact that we are still living together and have a good understanding. This whole situation is making me feel 100 different types of ways and I am not able to enjoy the future that God has promised me and is setting out. It is so hard to break a soul tie while living with someone and I really have no where else to go until I move to this new town that I am going to be living in. How do I heal our co-parent relationship without getting caught up in the emotional madness? Should l I even be trying to make peace?

I keep listening to secular music when I know I shouldn't be listening to. This was the old me that is still trying to tug on to this. I also have a problem when talking when not supposed to be talked and that was an old habit too. I now know that I should bring it unto the Lord and keep seeking him in the Word for when things like this keep ok happening.
Why do you feel like you can't listen to secular music?

God is certainly an "on-time" God. Thank you for posting this video. Unfortunately I've been replaying bits and pieces of my past and the shoulda-coulda-woulda's for years. I still do it to this day. It's bad. I've never really assessed that issue with myself but I know I need to do so. I have a lot of hurt and frustration. I'm going to watch your other new video now.
