Hi there, I saw one of your comments on ‘work at home’ where you spoke of earthing problem. Wondering if you can help. I’ve been using my lay x spa for a few months and for the first time this week the PCR control which has test and reset button keeps tripping out of no where. I press reset and goes on and immediately trips . If I press it a few times it eventually show GCF ground control fail. I’ve shut off my mains to problem solve but no issue there. Any ideas?? Thanks
Hiya, I'm an amateur radio person, so I have lots of RF earths spare (not in circuit of the RF feed/radios). I took one of those brass poles and knocked it into the ground next to the unit, if you turn it upside down, you will see an earthing point. I ran consumer grade earth wire from the bottom into the earthing pole, and had no further earth issues. www.hamradio.co.uk/solid-copper-earth-rod-4ft-pd-2790 is an example of a earth rod, just make sure you dont knock it into any pipes/cables !
