Actually I got my WiiU recently and I noticed that weird thing about different music on TV and gamepad. Thanks for giving a good loop of that track, this version is very chilling. WiiU is a great consolec with it's enormous library of good games and it's so sad that it was so much underrated.

The Wii U was a masterpiece, it surpasses the Switch in almost every aspect. The amount of personality and creativity that went into this system is amazing.
The gamepad has the percussion, and the TV has those lovely synths. (Although I wish when the TV was off this would play on the game pad, so that it feels more silent.)
Close your eyes and picture this. It's Christmas morning. You and your sisters just got done opening your last presents, but something has been haunting you ever since you got downstairs, whats in that big box an the couch. Is it for you, for your sisters, or for all of you. You and your siblings tare of the rapping paper to find, a wii u bundled in with Nintendo land. Its only now you noticed a small box sitting right next to it. You find out, its mario 3d world. Your sisters want to play with there dolls or whatever they got, so you play on the wii u in the living room. The first thing you go to is the mii maker. Then you hear this music as you try an replicate the mii that you once had an your wii. You finally get it perfect and go to 3d world next. You open the game and choose toad to play as. You see the cutsceen and toad ends up in a grassy lands. You assume that different characters bring you to different places. Its at this time one of your sister's came over to play with you. You and her play until your other sister comes and wants to play to. From past experiences, you'd think that 3 player multi-player isn't possible. You try, and it works. You spend the rest of the day playing mario 3d world until you go to a Christmas party. When you leave, you look at the wii u and think, this was the best gift ever. This didn't have a whole lot to do with this song, but that is what I think of every time I hear this song.

This really goes to show that the two tracks complete each other, and how genius it was to split it up. The TV alone feels mellow but hollow, and the Gamepad feels upbeat but like there could be more to it. Slap 'em together and you get an absolute BANGER!
Unfortunately, I understand why the Switch got a bunch of the Wii U’s games but “deluxe”. Not enough people bought the Wii U so Nintendo made a port of it to the Switch. Although people who had a Wii U were pissed (I own one but I bought the ports anyway), people who didn’t have it were glad to play it on the switch.

I remember before i found the volume slider on the gamepad this was all i had for the whole time and it was so eerie. when i found that slider, everything got so much cooler. Its like the song i knew got expanded, even though it was there from the start.

I feel like I've heard the gamepad version more recently than a long time ago but that's weird because I haven't heard the gamepad version of the home menu in a long time because my Wii U's volume broke and now it's either nothing, or if slid all the way backwards in the direction that is supposed to make the volume lower, very quiet, meaning that the tv music plays over it, as the tv is much louder

This is what I’m saying. Take a moment and listen. Nintendo for the Wii U designed the music for all tracks to be in 2 separate parts. And they also designed it too combine into 1 track. That is a ton of effort. And also look how they managed to design the eshop. Then look at the switches. It has little to no love or effort. Now compare it. And you’ll see.
