      Can't you just put this in a spray bottle and spray the outside of boots bushings?

    • @HandyHudsonite
      @HandyHudsonite  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a thought, but many of the bushings and seals are in very hard to reach places. You could reach out to them if they’d consider that product.

    I used it on my toilet, the rubber stopper inside was slowly leaking water, let it set overnight dry with this on it and no more leak one year later 🚽

    AT 205 is not available anyplace now for some reason, but it does work , we hope it will come back , in California this seems to be the case with anything that ever worked good .

    AT-205 and independent testing shows it does not swell seals! You can take a new seal and place it in hot AT-205 and measure it yourself. It contains chemicals that restores plasticity to rubber seals. AT-205 works very well. Make sure to use the proper measured amount and not just use the whole bottle.

    It doesn't swell seals, its a plasticizer.. it softens up hardened seals/gaskets. It won't fix cracked rubber and you should attempt retightening drain pan bolts and such after the rubber softens up.... Only front/rear main seals and valve stem seals require no tightening because they have a spring in place that applies constant pressure when the seal softens up it simply conforms back to the shape assuming its not cracked.

    • @HandyHudsonite
      @HandyHudsonite  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you so much for your insight and clarification on this. That is a great tip about retightening certain bolts after the rubber softens. I really appreciate you watching this and offering your valuable feedback.

    Put it on my 2016 jeep wrangler with 80,000 miles with a rear main seal leak I would say it’s about 80% better after one week so far so good I use the whole bottle and a 6 quart system. Got a quote for the rear main seal it’s an $1100 job I would do the clutch at the same time so I’d like to see if I could put the repair off since the dealership only charges an extra hour of labor for the clutch if they are doing the rear main seal.
    And I know I am nowhere near needing a new clutch yet so I’d like to get a two for one

    It does work on my 08 Lexus gs350 it has 119mi , I used to have white smoke at startup but my question why would I still have to use it every oil change if it claims it softness the seals and gasket ? Because I did oil change and I didn’t pour it in and wait to see it maybe helped permanently but it didn’t so I have to use it again and the smoke stoped ? Any idea ? Thanks again for your video

    Does it cause any sort of damage if I add it after every oil change? It did slow down my rear main seal leak a lot but after a recent oil change the leak seems to be back, thanks.

    • @HandyHudsonite
      @HandyHudsonite  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Bryan, thanks for the great question. I have heard of some people who will add it every oil change, but I don’t know if I would necessarily add a full treatment each time. You could do one more full treatment with the next oil change then a half or quarter amount with the following ones and see what happens. The AT-205 softens the seals, so some additional treatments could help seal up some small gaps that the first treatment couldn’t manage. I hope this helps you out with your situation. Thanks for watching my review!

    Is it better use with burn oil or new engine oil?

    • @HandyHudsonite
      @HandyHudsonite  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's ideal to add it during or right after an oil change. You can add it to your oil in between changes, but make sure you don't overfill your oil pan (If it's already very full - most cases it's fine because you're only dealing with a few oz of this product), that's why it's probably best to do it while you change the oil. Thanks for watching and for your question! 👍

    It doesn't swell the rubber seals. Thats where a lot of people get it wrong. It rejuvenates the rubber to being flexibility again. ( RECONDITIONS ) them back to factory specs. It does not change the size.

    DO NOT USE THIS CRAP. It swells up the rubber seals then few weeks later they shrink back down to where you end up with huge oil leaks. Stay away. I've had this happen to my Honda and the Lincoln after I put this crap in my engine. Never again

    • @HandyHudsonite
      @HandyHudsonite  5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Tony, I'm sorry you didn't have good results with the product on your vehicles. However, there are many people who have experienced positive results without this seal shrinkage happening. I appreciate your honesty and sharing your experience, but please be respectful in the way you post comments on my channel. Thanks for watching my review.

      It doesn't SWELL seals nor do the seals SHRINK. How would you even know this anyway? Do you have some magical device that you use to watch what happens to the seals? Fact is, you likely had bad seals beyond what this product could help and like any bad seal, it got worse over time. In my case, it worked on a rear main seal leak after only one hour of driving. 6 months later, still no leak, so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

    Had an internal seal leak in my 5speed automatic Acura trans where my 1st gear would slip when cold until warm up that is until the seal expanded then it was fine. I added 205 re seal and after a week of driving the problem went away. Now it’s normal again.
