I use a garmin but I really like that setup!! That is one of the coolest features i think about those collars! I’m really thinking about switching to the 2.0. Wasn’t big on the 1.0’s that’s why I chose garmin but they have really done a great job up grading their systems!!!
Jon Jones 3 years ago I owned Garmin Alpha, i was approached by SportDOG to field test the Tek 2.0 against the Alpha in the field hunting for an entire season. After that season i was very impressed. The Tek 2.0 had better maps, more accurate maps, better range in the mountains than the Alpha, plus double the warranty of Garmin products. It was a no brainer for me. I sold my Garmin. Later I was approached to be ProStaff for SportDOG.
Jon Jones I love everything about it, the biggest thing SportDOG has is customer service, you call them they help you, either fix things or send you new stuff, they dont give you the run around. You come to the SportDOG booth at these hunts like Autumn Oaks and we will work on somethings and we have batteries and parts for alot of things to help guys out. Try that with Garmin. SportDOG is a company owned by Dog men, designing Dog hunting equipment for Dog hunters by Dog hunters.
NITE LIFE KENNEL 10-4 well I might have to do some research!!! I currently own an Astro 320 but thinking about getting an Alpha but I’m gonna have to do my homework!! How can I find out like where and when those shows are like Plott days or that one they just had in SC?
Jon Jones yeah we set up booth at a handful of PKC hunts but the big UKC hunts we go to are Grand American in Orangburg Sc, Walker Days Union Sc, Winter Classic Batesville Ms, and Autumn Oaks Richmond In.

This is honestly the coolest feature of any collar I have seen. Garmin is gonna have a time trying to keep up with that if sport dog blows up.
Id be blown away if the gps stopped dropping off and now one of mine will not pair. Money well spent
