I recently upgraded my stock F150 wheels and tires to LT315/70R17. When I tested the speedometer vs a GPS speedo, I found that the truck speedo was about 6 mph slow at 65mph. I wanted my speedo to be accurate, so after researching I chose a Superchips FlashPaq F5 tuner to calibrate the speedo, but also to add a tune to my 3.5L EB. All I can say is WOW!!! My truck's hp and torque are noticeably better and the truck is so much more enjoyable to drive!
1:05 you say you used the Hypertech calibrator on a Ford Ranger but their website says it’s not compatible with Ford Ranger, what model did you use? Thanks.
Will the flash cal work on anything? I need to recalibrate my speedometer i think, i went from 205/60/15 to 235/45/18 and when i let off the gas the rpms drop fast af cause i think its reading the oem calibration, 2011 hyundai sonata gls
@Stage 3: Have you guys been able to verify if this will work on your new 2021 F150? Lot's of concerns floating around on line in regards to the trucks optional Active Assist 2.0 package in BC the cruise control and steering assist are pretty techy in that they are designed for Blue Cruise, i.e. level 2 autopilot.
Will adjusting tire size help with shifting and showing true mpg? I went from 275/65/18’s to 295/55/20’s in my 2018 2.7 ecoboost and it seems to shift funny now like too soon
Depends on how big you go, and it could only (legally) affect the warranty on things it could directly influence, like the suspension, but not things that wouldn't be directly affected, like the engine.

Can't FORscan be used to change the tire rotation value? Many of us Ford owners already have that and have used it to change various things.
Yes but it’s more involved and you need a windows laptop.

Yes it will help both scenarios!
SAME IN MY SONATA went from 205/60/15 to 235/45/18 and as soon as I let go of the gas and shift up it Jenks forward and rpms skyrocket lol
