I never knew that jahannam has an end. With such a strong chain of narrations. Our Lord is the Lord of mercy.

Yet another superbly intellectual talk by YQ, whom I love for the sake of Allah saw. May Allah sw reward him immensely.
I have heard that he has decided to gradually stop giving these talks on social media. I am feeling depressed just by thinking about my life without his talks. I hope it’s not true.

MashaAllah i really enjoyed today's series..btw I heard frm one Shaykh who studied frm Madina had the same position as YQ but he said after a billion or trillions of yrs or more only Allah knows When ...the inhabitants of jahannam will seize to exist basically they will be like non living things...he said stones maybe and Allah knows best...
It makes sense why will they burn forever and they didn't sin forever!..Allah is the most merciful and just
May Allah blessing be upon you and may He admit you to the highest place in jannah..
    JzkAllahu khayran!

There is an unanimous consensus among the scholars that Jannah is eternal without end. Any opinion that goes against it contradicts the Qur'an and Sunnah. Additionally, the notion of Jannah having a time limit (regardless of how long it is) completely changes the nature of Jannah -- it ends up becoming more transactional rather than a sign that we have earned Allah's everlasting pleasure.

    Salaams, another excellent lecture.
Another analogy I thought of. Someone says, you will never be allowed to leave this car. But then slowly removes and takes away all the car parts to there is no car for you to never leave 🤔

"What the wisdom of Allah SWT creating a eternal punishment"
Answer:Allah SWT knows best it's something beyond our understanding we will never know it up to Allah because Allah the one that created jahannam the wisdom of Allah is beyond our understanding

Salaam Shaykh. Doesn’t an impermanent Hell mean those who committed shirk would be forgiven? Doesn’t Allah say it’s the one sin that won’t be forgiven? So where would their punishment continue? Jazak Allah khair

Keep in mind this is just an opinion, and a minority one at that. So go with the opinion that makes sense to you as long as it follows the Quran and Sunnah. YQ explicitly mentioned that this opinion may help those who struggle to cope with the idea of eternal damnation.

Sheikh, if we be consistent we can apply the same notion to the eternity of Jannah.
Jannah can also cease to exist if Allah wills.

    • @bellah09
      @bellah09 3 ปีที่แล้ว

No..not really the verse he mentions in Quran only applies to jahannam...Jannah is forever by unanimous consensus as he puts it...no doubt about it!

Both Jannah and Jahannam are subject to the will of Allah. Jannah is eternal by the consensus of the scholars. Also, there is a difference in how Jannah and Jahannam are referred to in the Qur'an. Here is a section from Surat-ul-Hud 11:106-108: As for those bound for misery, they will be in the Fire, where they will be sighing and gasping, staying there forever, as long as the heavens and the earth will endure, except what your Lord wills. Surely your Lord does what He intends. And as for those destined to joy, they will be in Paradise, staying there forever, as long as the heavens and the earth will endure, except what your Lord wills-a ˹generous˺ giving, without end.

I some speakers saying that forever doesn’t really mean for ever. But that Allah will destroy us after a certain amount of time passes time. Not to say any names of who said this, but he said after a very very long time of millions and millions of years of being in Jannah or Jahannam, eventually we will be destroyed again. Is this true?
