  • Chances are, as a digital nomad, you've heard of Bansko. The nomad community exploded here, all thanks to Coworking Bansko, but that is not the only reason why people decide to stay long term.
    As a great destination all year round, Bansko not only has amazing hikes in summer, but also over 70km of slopes, and it is also the cheapest ski resort in Europe.
    We explored it for a few months, and we have some tips, places, and highlights for you all!

      It's gonna be hard to do anything on the near future due to lock down. Was suppose to go Sofia this week, but that ain't happening anymore

    great video, thanks. This story of the fresh air is super important to me. Thanks for letting me know. If you can tell me more about it, would be awesome. You know, I follow the coworking, I see they have lots of social activities, which is great. I d sign up just to be able to participate to the events, connect with others, get to know ideas, enlarge my network etc hahha. To work in a room where there is so many people and maybe even noisy, i prefer to work quietly at home. I have to say i have never been in a coworking before. It seems to have pros and contras.

      Since we were last there the Coworking Bansko already opened a new location, you should totally check it out to get to know the people and participate in the events. Hope you enjoy.

    Thanks this was very useful, how was the WiFi in your rented apartment? In case you don't want to go to the co working every day.

    Hi guys ! i was even thinking of buying an apartment in Bansko, setup a company(online business) and live there, cost is pretty low so it's appealing. But it does seem much less lively than a place like Sofia and I am afraid it can get a bit boring. Would you recommend it over Sofia or other places in Bulgaria ? (as a good combination between business and life?)

    What's your take on Bansko as a European homebase for other entrepreneurs who don't necessarily want to travel full time but live between 2 or 3 different countries 😇?

      For sure it's a good option. It's a good winter base and also during summer can be interesting and they have good prices. Before anything I would suggest go there and see if you like it.

    No frozen food at supermarkets as Lidl?

      Yes, there's frozen food in Lidl and others, but the fresher the better ;)

    I was wondering if people can get in touch with the local contacts for a good price for 3 month rentals without joining Coworking Bansko? And what about skiing in the afternoon or nighttime? Is it less busy?

    • @claudioduartesilva
      @claudioduartesilva  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can totally contact people on Facebook groups for a special deal but if you want to go to Digital Nomad event you will have to be a part of the Coworking. Skiing in the afternoon is fine, in the evening I think it's closed but don't quote me on that.

      You can book a long-term apartment at www.banskonomadapartments.com/
      It is meant to make it easier for our members to find an apartment, but everyone can book one regardless of membership.

    What is co-working?

    • @claudioduartesilva
      @claudioduartesilva  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      A place you rent a desk from to go work on your laptop, to be in the company of other people instead of home alone, and participate in social events.
