Great video! Can you turn it on/off with the app?

hi... i am interested in the Up cycling and or Recycling the old cell phone camera. Can you please tell me if tis possible to take out the phone camera from the main board along with ribbon cable and connection and make use of it for other purpose ? what are the difficulties or challenges in hacking the cell phone camera ? Please ...thank you

Not likely. Phones are usually built with proprietary interfaces. You may be able to plug USB devices into the phone or external displays, but it really depends on the phone.

Are there any programs that you can run on PC or better yet a pi where you can plug in the IP address of a camera and then have it show up in Alexa or google home so you can ask the voice assistant pull it up?

Google Home doesn't support generic IP cameras, so I don't think this would be a solution for that.

@BlaizeTech yeah I know I thought maybe that there was a program we could run on pi or PC that would act as an intermediary
Like a program you can point to rtsp streams and then configure it to work with Alexa or Google home.
There are lots of generic and Chinese off rend cams that work with Google home
They claim to work with Alexa as well but they don't, I am part of the Amazon vine program and I tested a few and that has been the case anyway.
Also I know that there are projects where you can emulate smart switch devices on stuff like esp boards like a belkin wemo
And use the belkin skill to control the device.
I wonder if anyone is working on a similar project for camera that could use an existing skill and emulate the hardware with something else

@@andreamitchell4758 FFMpeg can receive the stream. There's a project called motion that can read the stream, too. These both work on Pis

in '"actons" it says you can "toggle LED on/off in WEB INERFACE" what web interface? how do i do this?
I am viewing in VLC is there a special x86 PC program to view the stream and be able to toggle LED or something because I cant find it
also i don't understand what the built in web browser is for, can you make another video explaining how to use this app with basic functions if you are not planning on using DVR software.
The developer did a really piss poor job of documenting his shit, many such cases

I'm not sure. This was about setting up the phone to use it to create an RTSP stream and using it with Agent DVR.

Is there a way to view footage from my phone

The DVR website is mobile friendly. You can see it on the DVR and play it on your phone.
