Today I talk about the heavy duty cycle on your washing machine. I describe how it works, when to use it, and when to never use it.
This cycle is also known as the intense cycle, so if you have that on your washer instead of heavy duty, it is the same thing.

One of my roommates uses Heavy Duty for almost every load and I have argued that it is the reason our house gets so hot and causes our utility bill to be so high but she refuses to believe. We have energy and water efficient machines but the Heavy Duty cycle overrides all that. Thank you for your video

It’s definitely one of the most energy consuming cycles, but it’s really useful when you need it! I’m glad the video was useful 😀

@@Organizing-TV According to the info you offered, we don't have anything that would justify using the Heavy Duty cycle. thank you again for your video

I have been using the Clean People laundry products for about three years and I have been pleased with the results. Eco friendly and no measuring or heavy lifting.

I was actually looking into that brand as well as I was trying to decide which ones I wanted to use myself! It is great to hear that they are a good option as well.

How do you get out grease and oil stains that are set in? I know I have tried a few of the products on the list and I still can't get the stains out. All the items are cotton or a cotton/poly blend.

I've had most success with enzyme-based stain remover. Just spray/rub it on the stain and leave it on there for a bit. Those detergents on the list I recommended are also really good
