I strongly believe he is one of the two best sprinters ever. Being coordinated at 6'5 and maximizing his stride length, frequency and speed endurance with his talent = 9.58. The other one Ben Johnson, strength, speed ENDURANCE, talent. Imagine getting to top speed by 20 meters and holding basically top speed for 60-65 metres on slower tracks back then = 9.79.

I’m gonna say this only one time. Usain Bolt yes he does his training, yes he probably eats right/ trains right. But Usain “ Lightening” Bolt said it out of his mouth himself; “ GOD made me Fast so I can beat everyone. And that’s what I’m gonna do”!
That’s not cocky, not boastful , not proud. Its GOD!

Simply being tall doesn’t make someone fast. It’s tiring hearing casual track people say this. Height reduces stride frequency but gives stride length. Stride frequency can help increase speed just as stride length can as well.
But the fastest person will have both ideally and being tall hurts frequency.
Usain Bolt is fast because he has fast frequencies and
Length and power and genetic anomaliesif that wasn’t the case any tall dude should be an Olympic gold medalist in the sprints
