Hello, great content mate. I was wondering if for example you're in the middle of parrying a projectile super (say ryu's denjin) and that ryu tries to interrupt your super parrying by say throwing in a tatsumaki to confuse you. How are you supposed to parry that? Or let's make it easier, say he only tried to sneak in a low medium kick. Should you change the rhythm of the parry and mash the low parry and the next forward parry or what? I can't consistently get out of these mixed setups. Please sheed some light on this topic.
Ps: one famous example is chun's fireball into SA2, how are you supposed to parry that fireball when you're busy parrying the sa2?

If you had to parry Ryu's super and the opponent tried to do low MK to tatsu link on you while you're parrying, it would depend entirely on when the Ryu did the other attack. Ryu is able to attack again just a lil bit after the 3rd hit of the super art is parried, so that means it's only 2 more hits left on the super art. If the Ryu player does low MK/tatsu immediately after the super is thrown then it would have to be forward 3 times on the shinku hadouken, then a quick forward, down, forward, forward to parry the 4th hit of shinku, low MK, 5th hit of shinku, then the tatsu, and then forward 2 more times but at the pace of the his tatsumaki which is slow. Sometimes (again depending on the time Ryu attacks) you can easily parry this because the opponent may do tatsu at a certain moment in which both the shinku hadouken and the tatsu are hitting at the same time, which means every time you press forward to parry the game will register it as a parry for both attacks, so you'll end up parrying lesser hits, which is a win for you.

Also denjin super art and shinku super art are pretty much the same parry speed, but if you had to parry denjin then that's completely random and based on when the opponent throws the denjin at you as you are waking up as well as what level of denjin the opponent charged it to. A level 4 denjin (fully charged) is 5 hits, so it'd be the same as parrying the shinku except denjin players majority of the time throw this super at you after they get a knock down on you, and you can't read when a player releases denjin, so you parrying it is 100% completely based on your reaction time to the visuals and or sound on the screen.

How do you access these higher levels?

The bonus stage level is based on your overall score throughout the arcade mode up to that point. To get level 1 you pretty much have to play terrible, lose rounds, get stunned by the computer, let the computer perfect you, never parry or block anything, only do one attack which is leg sweep, let the time run down. To get to level 5 it's basically the exact opposite, you have to win with ranks XS and above I believe because I couldn't get level 5 with S rank wins over the computer, but it worked with XS and or MSF grades. You have to parry at least 3 times, stun the computer every round, get perfect wins every time, kill the computer with a super attack every time, and do it quickly, like within 10-15 seconds of the starting round.

@@ghostagai thought you could hold lp+ mk + hp and down? To increase the level?

@@Azzabajam I read that somewhere and tried it multiple times beforehand, but it didn't work, so I think that's only for certain ports for SF3, not for fightcade though which is what I play on.
