Tonight I went to a Las Vegas Goodwill with my friend Kari to see what we could find to resale on Ebay and more. We made some cool finds and the thrifting was profitable!

Having worked in retail for over 30 years .one thing i have learned is. Playing loud music is used as a distraction for the customer. It breaks there concetration and they tend to spend more.i love watching your vids there are days i bing watch. Keep up the great work and god bless.
It works the opposite on me- I cannot stand loud music while shopping, so I usually leave if it's too loud:).
@@LindaKayHolevas, same here. We don't go shopping for loud music. Complain to management in emails about knowing businesses use load music for distraction to get people to shop more, not so, we will shop at other businesses and spread the word around that they play loud music to supposedly to buy more merchandise. Just saying.
True & it has to be peppy. I mentally tune it out
I read an article that said loud music tends to cut into profits because most customers find it irritating. Just too loud

Goodwill where I lived has said
1- donations are not coming in as much as they have
2. People r donating to smaller thrift stores that are not chains due to chain increased prices

Just a thought, the people in my area have slowed way down on giving to Goodwill, people are upset that Goodwill have increased prices so much there are few bargains to be had there. Instead they are donating to other organizations and if they believe their items to be worth something or know it is collectable I am seeing a ton popping up on Marketplace.

I think the mug might be an alpaca or llama as the pattern looks like a sweater and they use the wool to knit ponchos, shawls, etc. I live in Ecuador now and have several. My vote is that it's a llama, not a camel. LOL

I think, with our economy, that more people are selling their things, instead of donating them. Also many donate to other thrift stores to help humane shelters or to churchs.
I agree. Charity thrift shops are packed in my area and people are getting ready for springtime garage sales.
Got a kick out of the work time cocktail inserts in today's video. Today my hubby went thrifting with me. He found 2 Alberto Culver gold mushroom low-ball glasses for our vintage bar cart at an antique shop. Paid $75 bucks which at first I was a little hesitant until I looked them up on 1st dibs. Then I was....Yes please.

Wow! I had no idea how well the Dog Junkies sale went, and that's so wonderful that you're going to make it a regular feature. I had to leave as the livestream started, but there were things that we would have wanted from Dog Junkies too that I saw in the replay. So very kind that you're committed to adding them to your sales, Danni. That's why I love your channel because you are an entrepreneur who helps others and aids a charity that has a very special place in the world.
Again, the Danni and Kari comedy tour has brought a smile to my face! Thank you. I've noticed our GWs are also lacking a bit, here on the East Coast, and I wonder if it's donations are down or there's some sort of processing delay at some stores. Some that formerly had great stuff have the same stale merchandise, and not much in the way of some things I've been seeking like vintage typewriter elements, etc., that used to be easier to find in stores. Fake Louis at exorbitant, almost real pre-loved Louis prices? They've got you covered (for-profit thrift chain for those). Some florist vases? Check. But, some good finds that were around, not as prevalent in the last couple of weeks.
You and Kari are so kind to listen to the gentleman with the lovely cat, where some people would be rude and not take the time, even when it's closing and you're all ready to go home. His cat probably wanted him to come home!
I’m a fan of talking to those who don’t have someone to listen. His cat was really pretty too!

Hi Ladies, I am fairly certain the 'dansk' milk saucepan does not come with a lid. It has a pouring lip and doesn't need a lid , it is just for warming milk. Great find! :)

Prayers you get relief. I suffer from chronic pain and have back issues. Pain can be debilitating.💖
Prayers for healing and find methods to decrease it. I have flare ups due to Autoimmune disorder and arthritis, etc, recovered last month covid, pneumonia hospitized 2 times, sent home with oxygen. Got a fracture rib last week. But, I pray alot for myself and people 🙏. I'm off daytime oxygen, but use CPAP at night. My family pray alot too. I just started watching Danni the NICHE Lady and her fellow shoppers in the hospital stays. Glad I did. God bless Danni, Kari, and their family, businesses and her viewers. 🙏

As always so much fun with you girlies….lots of chuckles 😆😆😆. Long line at Goodwill? Only 1 person at the register? I’m one of “those” people who will go find someone (but make sure someone’s saving my place) and lay a little guilt trip on them…nicely and with a smile on my face, of course. Really, they shouldn’t let that happen. And sometimes the lonely clerk gets so busy, they don’t see how long the line is and forget to call someone up to help. Oh well…you ended up doing ok 👍 Good for you! 😀
Fun Shop Session. Kari did good with those 2 stemless aerating Chevalier wine glasses. 2 are expensive. The finedine decanter n cup set in box brings some good $ too. Love Noah's comments. The plush was so cute. I couldn't have left the armless 🐰🤣 That Dragon Mug WOW. I like that concept. The reveal with the hot drink. So Cool. Our Goodwill shelves are packed.. People are getting cabin fever from winter. We are getting sunny warm days. .Can't wait for my next trip to look. I found a new pair of UGGs and a Beautiful Swirled Recycled glass big freeform Bowl It's the most beautiful blue. Almost a sea glass color. Teal/Aqua with the swirls. The Tag says San Miguel Studio Art 100‰ Recycled glass made in Spain for $5.99 It's Beautiful.
Those Chevalier are $$! Giving them to my hubby, he loves red wine.

Hi from Colorado . I love your videos I have learned so much from them and you . I’ve got something a little boy taught me instead of saying the butt word he informed me to say tail feathers , because you don’t get a time out if you do . His time outs have reduced by about 10 minutes at a time …..lol
