Danni, in 1958 i had a whole set or the original melmac in that color. I worked as a cashier at Albers Supermarket and i bought a piece at a time from them. Had a whole set collected for when i married in 1960.
You got your hands on a real variety of items today. I hear you talking but I’m absolutely fascinated in watching your left hand. It’s flitting to and fro, running over things, turning over things, feeling, tapping, weighing and you might turn a piece back and forth only to leave it behind. The hand speaks volumes!
We used to put beer bottles in the coals of the party fire and let them melt until we had a cool ashtray. 😎. You had to cool it slowly or they'd break.
Dani... I'm new to reselling, but I was able to pick up some beanie babies for 50 cents and turn around and sell two of them for $5.99 and $7.99... it's not much but still a little profit
Just keep in mind you have to deduct all the expenses, not just the cost of the item. Value your time and make sure you are making enough to make it worth that time!
Love watching your channel my friend!! Love seeing Mickey on your videos! He’s a great guy!! You found some great things!! Love seeing all the great things you find!! Much love my friend!! 🥰💖💕🙏🙏😊❤️🌺💜💙💙💚💚🙏
The carousel like that does not move - just plays music and the dragon behind him is one side of a sleigh that use to accompany the horses around the carousel. Most of the time older people reminiscing about riding the carousel would ride in the sleighs. They are always on the inside of the ride ...
Wow, this Goodwill was packed with treasures! I saw a lot of things you didn't even look at. It must be overwhelming sometimes when there's so much to look at! I wish my local Goodwills were stocked like yours & also priced like yours! TFS🤗
I am not a reseller but I love your education, Danni! I went to a thrift store this weekend and "felt" all the glass! I'm dying to feel the sharpness of a true American Brillance! 😆
Dani the Bull divided dish bowl would look great as a display for TX and Southwest decor. Sit it in a plate stand in your booth. Sit some western things around it or a belt buckle or figurines. It should sell !
Melmac brings back memories of my Mom having a ton of those pieces...bowls, plates and cups...she used them everyday for my entire life...So well over 60 years worth. They certainly were well used. Those that lived thru the first depression knew...now it’s our turn, sadly.
I have so much original Melmac on sale on my eBay. Haven’t sold a piece 😂 We use to use Melmac when we went camping in our travel trailer. Back in the 60’s-70’s. I love melamine!
If you find cheap globes you should get the for Rachel to paint and sell at the shop. Look up painted globes some of very cool. I do this for my middle school library to repurpose them.
Great finds today...loved the video. I even found a couple of items that I would love to purchase & Im local. 😁 I do that diamond art beading & it IS a lot of work. Thank you for saving it. I hope that there are others that will appreciate the work that goes into this art.
Loved the picture frame of dogs you called Great Danes. We have one and a couple in the family. But I used to have boxers years ago and right off I seen boxers when you said GD so I had to take a back look lol my OCD made me do it! Sorry but they are boxers. Danes have large long noses at first glance the ones on the bottom left made me do a second look again myself lol because those are more common in the Dane colors. But would have loved to had that frame had it not been broken. I believe one was looking to have a broken ear. Im an avid animal lover like y'all are. My daughter counted heads at her place awhile ago. She had 75 critters and one of those is a Great Dane. She is the Aunt to mine. And 2 of those heads are horses. Animal crazed daughter I have made a monster! Lol she's an amazing mom to all!
I was at the same Goodwill yesterday. I picked up a turquoise divided melmac bowl. but after looking at comps I wasn't terribly excited. I put it back. I hope you find it!
@@TheNICHELady It is okay, it's just frustrating that some people do the "race to the end" like you always say. It does devalue certain things, that's all I was trying to refer to:) xo
Oh man those elephant curtain holders I love. If you find really cool plastic glasses it is a good idea to pick them up this time of year. They are good outside around a pool for safety. New ones as cute as the one you picked up I would have bought.
Sharing a idea....When I Just cannot read something... I take a close up cellphone picture... then look at the picture zooming in now I can read it....You probably already figured this out. Great video as always....Trying to get caught up....HuGs
My granddaughter just finished her first year at James Madison University in VA and the team are the Dukes. You had their mug in your hand briefly. You have some amazing finds at your Goodwill, so unlike here in CT.
I love Dragonware. I have a complete tea set that was my grandmother's. The cups have geisha in them when you hold them up to the light and look from the inside through the bottom. 💜💜💜
This is the last of several videos I have caught up on ..of course always so many to do...You are a positive delight and such a real person too...seeing how you work our challenges and help all learn was special watching the live sale ... just think you are a treasure,,,you and your family...thanks for your incredible consistency and sharing you successful lovely family of humans, friends, and animals.
I start my day watching you, I have learned so much stuff enjoy watching you and Kari together such fun. Really loved the episode where you went to visit Jordan and went everywhere...you have great children from what I've seen. Love all the goodies you find. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 👍
I think those were boxers in the frame. My great dane has taught me that putting things up high is not high enough, his tail is a dangerous weapon :) He stands as tall as me when he us on his hind legs and he is the biggest chicken I have ever met. 120lbs of scaredy cat. But I love him bowls full. ❤
If you ever need to talk you just let me know. Being a therapist has it perks but as a therapist I also have my own I speak to biweekly. Also don't forget to practice healthy self-care. God bless you and your family.

I thought of nick name for noah saucey him being such a good cook, and Rachel hers could be spicy she caught mw off guard with the knowledge that little one, and then your other daughter could be zesty, i am learning a lot from your show, say hi from me tami to spicy and your sweet family.
Really enjoy your adventures & seeing your finds. Watching from New Zealand. You are so kind. I enjoy seeing your pets & know that you really care about them. Bless!
I purchased a 54 piece of Homer Laughlin Skytone dishes for $50. I have good luck with dish set in my booth. I was so excited. Hi Dani and Mikey and Noah.
That cow cookie jar! Probably the one thing you’ve found that I’d buy, if it weren’t for my living in Britain!😅 okay, so you buy loads of lovely stuff, if truth be told! But the cow comes top!
The mystery picture is of Mayberry from the Andy Griffith Show. Mayberry was named after the town of Mount Airy, NC. ( I work there) and also named from the May apple plant that blooms along the roads in the spring.
Holy moly did you find some great stuff! My mom and I were both drooling over that gorgeous seahorse platter and glass starfish plates. The Eeyore mug is me pretty much every morning...lol. Love it.
Yes globes are outrageous. They can get quite expensive I agree you need to take that. Even the more newer globes are over $20 they’re upwards of $30 a piece.
I loved that Hot Flash saying. If it’s still there when you go again. I want it please. That piece of Dragon Ware I would have bought it. Take a file to file down the broken handle parts as close to the base side as possible. Round the edges and than paint the two parts with gold. Of course not for resale, just for me.
Danni please tell mike to take it easy my dad was nursing a hernia and he woke up one night and my mom had to rush him to the er and he was told by the dr had he not woken up he would not have lived . They took him into emergency surgery and fixed it I guess .Scared my mother like nothing i had ever seen before so please tell mike to be very careful and if something does not feel right dont ignore it get to the er quickly .
Love the siesta cookie jar!!!!! Sandra M. also does the cute ceramic sayings. There would have been a rolled up portable chess board made out of the same material as the chess bag.

I love your compassion for plants and animals!!!
The bonsai plant can be restored. They are normally very expensive as they take so long to prune/ train. You could move it into another pot.
My sister had a lefty cup that I got her a long time ago and it got broke and I've been looking for one ever since then

Was very good profile because you bought both a dollar
That was a good score. Maybe you can find some more at that price. It’s surprising what plush brings sometimes. 👍

Great find on the Mud Pie seahorse platter! I love that brand. I did not know they had any thing "beachy"! Love, love, it!!
I had a Floral and gift store for 20 years. I carried Mud Pie! It was very popular. Had a hard time keeping it in the store. I still LOVE Mud Pie!
Nice finds! I’m always impressed by the quality and quantity of items at your Goodwill.
a), As a crocheter, i always drool over the yarn! ;). b) I'm a Lefty, I want one of those mugs!
Some vintage yarn is sayelle & wintuck. From the 1970’s
I miss our Goodwill store, it was destroyed in the Tornado last month, in Gaylord Michigan.

Glitterhounds here. Just starting the resale ideas and prep work. I loved that spoon rest and have friends that would fight over it. Just lovely.

I was having a bad day and then I saw your text and heard your laugh. Think you for improving my day!!!
Cute bank. 😊 He's drooling from saying, "Mine, Mine, Mine". 😁😁😁
I'm glad you saved the vintage 50s platter. The chip shouldn't stop some one from buying it and it doesn't interfere with using the platter.
I'm a plant lover. I 'm so happy you are going to try to save that bonsai tree. They are so beautiful when they are healthy.
I love that you rescued that little tree! My faith in humanity has been restored! XOXO

We had a Great Dane years ago and he was such a sweet dog.
You got SHIP done!
I was at the same Goodwill yesterday. I picked up a turquoise divided melmac bowl. but after looking at comps I wasn't terribly excited. I put it back. I hope you find it!
Yeah, there's a woman on Etsy selling the same bowl for just $10. I think it's lost some of it's value because people keep lowering their prices.
I am bummed I missed it!
There will always be someone selling things below value - it's ok not everyone is shopping by the lowest price ;-)

The wooden fish with ridges is a young child's guiro.......make music rhythm sounds by scraping the ridges with the little attached wooden shell.
I just bought a cool elephant head lamp. I love the curtain rod elephants too! 🐘

Ooo the doll in the beginning looks a lot like a Kinnxe Doll. They are Quinceanera dolls often made of porcelain and some can bring a pretty penny.
