There has never been a more frozen moment in time than Ben’s expression of emotion in winning his 2nd Masters tournament, and the heartwarming moment when Ben’s caddie offers a legendary hug for Ben’s beautiful human expression of love for his mentor Harvey Pinnick, who had passed away a few days earlier…this beautiful moment of a black caddie and a white golfer should serve as a legendary portrait for all to see the power of emotion sweeping away any racial diversity…this one photograph should stand forever as to the magical sense of camaraderie and bond that envelops all sports, dismissing forever any racial, religious or ethnic beliefs…may the good Lord richly bless Ben and his ever faithful caddie with good health and happiness, until they walk together that last fairway …
I won’t watch LIV golf and the players who went to LIV for the money are history to me. I still the watch PGA tour and will continue to. There is plenty of new talent there.
Remember watching Crenshaw at brookside in columbus back in the early 70's. He had the reputation of the next big Star. Being very hansome, beautiful women swooned over him.
You miss the point entirely. Every single tour player today putts under the rules of Ben Crenshaw. Even Tiger. And his claim to fame is that he was man enough to open up about it. There were a few others who knew how to putt too but every single one of them kept it to themselves. Even Nicklaus. That alone makes him one of the all time greats. People forget, up until about 1960 it was almost a given that the leader was going to choke somewhere on the last 4 holes with their putter. Crenshaw ended that for everyone by telling people what he did to be such a great putter. It's the RELEASE stupid. The release takes the player out of the putt.
LIV is funded by Saudi Arabia. All but two of the 9/11 hijackers were Saudis. Period. “Never forget” is apparently only a meaningless quote when it comes to many of the already super wealthy PGA professionals. The split was only about the money. So get off your high-horse and accept that PGA Tour players are not some kind of holier than thou "traditionalists". They wear slave-made clothes and act as though they're staunch "traditionalist' just looking to "protect the game", because you don't know the facts and fall for their propaganda. You lap it up because of their golf talent and refuse to believe your lying eyes.
