I might be wrong, but this seems literally like how much of the financial world operates. 🤷🏻‍♂️

My man waited till all time highs to tell us to take a loan on a speculative asset. 😂. What happens if it crashes back to 50k ? Will you help us pay back the loan ?

In 2017, Bitcoin at 10,000 was an “all time high”. Today is no different. In the short term, you could buy Bitcoin today and it could drop 30-50%. In which case you would buy more, not sell at 50k. In 10 years, the price will be significantly higher than it is today. Bitcoin was a “speculative” asset in the beginning. But after 16 years with an average return of over 100% annually per year, including this year 2024 with the Bitcoin ETF approval, Bitcoin is not only an asset that Blackrock is recommending in everyone’s portfolio, but it’s been the best performing asset class to date. This trend will continue as more individuals, companies, and even countries such as the United States are looking into bitcoin as a hedge against monetary debasement. We are witnessing global adoption take place

There is a chance that the most recent gains will correct downward based on the past statistics. If bitcoin goes up 20% every year and suddenly Dec 2024 its up 60%, IT STANDS TO REASON that it is overvalued. If you take out a loan and it drops 40%, you are going to spend the next 2 years just breaking even.

Interesting take, however I just don’t seem to pinpoint what dates or markers are you taking into consideration when you state BTC goes up 20% yearly, would you elaborate? Are you talking about CAGR? Even then I just don’t see it.

In 2013 Bitcoin hit an “all time high” of 1,000. In 2017 Bitcoin hit an “all time high” of 10,000. Today it hit an “all time high” of 100,000. Every single one of those times was a great time to buy because Bitcoin will be significantly higher in 10 years

I learned a lot from your post, much appreciated! A quick aside, I wanted to ask: my SafePal wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (blood frost vague mom crop midnight innocent avoid human spin grace hurdle). How should I go about transferring them to ByBit?
