yes all that and she put up like 60-70mil. Trying to track down a forerunner account with a1 Anai so I can show how easily she can be swapped out for a better option. Only potential strength she could bring is with a solcadens team. But I am STILL confident I could stack enough burns with hex arrogance zili and solcadens on a decent account to make her useless
Her damage is OK. The idea of Anai is that she's basically an infernal version of Salazar in a way. Both Hex and Zilitu (which are arguably the top 3 GB dps champs alongside Silas) deal magic damage. Now imagine the 160-240mill dmg that Zil and the 120-180mill dmg the Hex already do with top gear, with a 15% magic resist debuff that is pretty much permanent. Someone (I think Dan) did a dmg test with her wearing good Arcana gear. Her damage is pretty much on par with Setram if not higher (she was A1 and did 75mill and Setram was A5 and did 76 or so ). That's also on par with Salazar, which people use despite the lower damage output solely for the bleed. Now for the most important part about her: the ability to stack SoulBound Arcana very fast with her low cost-auto ultimate. So yeah, I believe that she is going to be very much the new meta for guild boss. Even if, by a long shot, she deals crap damage; the ability to give Zil and Hex the 15% M.Resist on the GB is absolutely huge. EDIT: oh, and I forget to mention that TF, Solcadens, Pyros and even Nocturne do magic damage. Not to overshadow what you said in the guide, but she doesn't "suck", she's very much a meta hero :D The banner is going to have Anai and Elowyen, and that's probably the best one we've seen in a while. i think their boost would be about 20-30mil I well build setram or nocturne easily would exceed that 40-60mil improvement. it is a fair point. I just dont see people who can run meta teams choosing her...and people with normal teams would only use her if they desperately needed a 3rd infernal dps. AND keep in mind, these numbers are at max skill ups and no one is gonna max skill her unless something else develops.
I have a sneak feeling Anai was made as a ploy for the super Krakens that have Socadens as he buffs burn damage. He has a skill where, "there is a 30% chance to inscrease their recieved burning DMG by 30% He also has a a3 that "For every 1 burning on the targets, increases the hero's DMG by 5% up 35%"

Dan Heilman has a video where she does like 65m and another run with 75m on GB i dont know if that was because of his gear or what but she did more dmg then salazar so idk. Edit I guess Dan had Anai at A1 on his test server runs
I have a couple of questions, why not use samsara on anai as it would be the better artifact? Regarding the damage difference in between setram and anai, i believe the way you tested it was not accurate because having 50% crit rate benefits setram more because of his pasive and he would either way get more damage because of breaking the shield. The way you did the test you could take anai and zilitu first run not break 3rd shield and then anai and setram (take zilitu out) and break 3rd shield and come to the conclusion that zilitu is shit, but there is no corelation in that conclusion the only thing you proved in between test 1 and test 2 is that setram is good at breaking shields.
I tested it initially when prepping. Anai with 1.3 second interval, needs 13 seconds to get 10 hits and match the 15% boost from the Echo. Those hits do not start counting and building rage until her ultimate has been completed. So after her ultimate ending she would need 13 seconds to match the output of Echo. But there must be some delay on the hits to Samsara registering because with the 15% rage immediately from Echo + the extra rage she builds during the ult, the Echo actually led to her ulting faster by about 1 second.

It is weird that for example the rage regen from laurel gets added and same for laya, but some other effects do not get added🤔 Also, you tested her more than me, do you know if there is a bump in damage from arrogance, hex or zilitu from anai keeping their burn on the boss longer?🤔
The way you’re describing it makes it sound like the ultimate is not functioning correctly. It might be something to pass by the developer contact and see if it is? That low of a cost I feel like should have significantly higher up time. Dan also put out a video about her and nearly got the 50,000 blood on guild boss nightmare 4. I wonder if she’s worth getting in the hopes that they fix her
Do you actually get max damage from Pyros' ult as long as you activate it when Zilitu's ult is still active even if it finishes before Focus Fire finishes? I thought Zilitu's ult still had to be active when Focus Fire finished to get the max damage?
I have the insane luck that I have Elowyn at A4. A5 would be nice and cool but I feel I will get there eventually and Anai, while cool on paper isn't a must pull hero for me. So this is a rare opportunity for me to skip a banner and save up :)
Coul you test anai A5 and a full meta rage regen comp with laurel and laya? I am curious if a well timed laurel could chain ults to reapply the preious ult's burning
One thing that bothers me about this game is all the healers based on attack. If a healer is attack based, they should do some kind of damage. Like Dolores and lightlocke make sense but why is elowyn or lyria attack based... it doesn't make sense. And it means that 90% of heroes are looking for the same stat
@@blixt009 I had that same thought but then I saw Aylin, Ezryn, Lili are all attack healers that don't have any buffs or regen or anything. All three have lots of healing and some form of damage reduction. Similar to Sadie who has healing and damage reduction but is an hp based hero...
Compare Anai with a5 Azoroth. I have a twin fiend and was excited about this new burning champ. TF does extra dmg to burning mobs. So was looking a good burner.

U mean towards her passive. I did lean towards her talent. And yes this was how I originally built her like I said but I found the build you see here performed better.
Ok if you mentioned that, I apologize, hard to retain everything on first watch of such a packed video. I just figured as far as her passive was concerned with all other sources of burns from other heroes, you may be able to keep 7 stacks on the target and focus more on her dps side of things and more to the 15% extra she gets from the talent, but like I said if you tried that already and it was worse I must have just missed that.

Im running Hollow in my current GB team, and just got Elowyn. So now im wondering,at what point i should replace Hollow with Elowyn. Because her skills are not maxed yet Also, did you test out Samsara on Anai? since its an autoattack hero, i would assume it gives her more then 15%

Yo Fastidious im sure this is a dumb question but I have everything needed for a great infernal gb team, but am missing the elite nightmare fighters and elowyn. I find the most success stacking pyros, nocturne, zilitu, setram, and hex without dolores receiving the lord buff. I havent researched best placement but why is having dolores receive the Lord bonus better than having her outside of the synergy in the second set of 5? Is it just because of the stat bonus from the lord bonus or is there some other reason? Also would you recommend I bump nocturne from the group and put dolores in? I realize i could test this myself but im lazy 😂. Thanks for the content bud!
Hey Fastii, I have some question about Anai but can't join the test server : - is it possible to cycle her ult with hollow and/or Elo and Laurel to refresh the burning and have infinite burning on the boss. - does the burning scale dynamically with Dolores ult? or do we need to ult with dolores before Anai ult to get the att bonus on the burning? BTW thanks for the test, love your content
burns scale with dolores from time it is placed from what I can see. With regard to cycling, I have more tests planned but it surely seems the quantity of burns is capped at 8. perhaps it can go up to 10 but I am now convinced from all my testing on stream last night that their is an unspoken debuff cap.
I think the issue might be the burn damage and other damage from debuffs doesn't count for the hero dealing the damange. Notice you had 38k blood (higher damage) with worse damage on the hero.
yea like when they did the fusion lego his radiant damage wasn't being counted so this needs fixed along with her burning. She should be doing tons of damage with all that burning.
certainly could be a decent pairing. I can test at a1 but I think anyone with Solcadens will likely still have more potent options. We can see tho. I will need stronger gear on Test Server to properly test that
@@fastidious_gg just being abit selfish really because I have solcadens as my only legendary lord. The only spot I can think see could replace, if good enough would be nocturne for me, don’t have hex. I am f2p so I probably won’t get her weekend but curious never the mess.
If I get the gear to run a later/end game comp like that I can try. Nocturne PERHAPS she could be an improvement upon WITH awakenings and Solcadens. I think any other leggo dps sub trumps her handily
It was some test alright. What it was not, is a test of the heroes capabilities. edit: much better in your stream. While the result might be similar (in scale), it at least was an actual test to show her capabilities.
silus at A3 will help gb so much setram is a shield buster unfortunatly i only have an A1 silus also use nocturne i dont have hex also laya and hollow deimos and alister and dolores
I got elowyn as my first legendary, but of course all dust and 2 legendary crystals havent buffed the rage rigen stat 🤦♂️ In early game she helped me a lot, and i still use her, but i dont get why are you so excited, because i think she is really good (no doubt) but she need a range boost, 4x3 isnt useful in a lot of content Now that i have an account in midgame I ended up using hollow (if i need rage rigen) and vortex (on tanky situation) way more than her because they have a much bigger area of effect... Lets see if i can improve her rage rigen Skill and then i will try her again... And for curiosity is better to have atk% or healing effect as a main stat on atk based healer? 🤔

So, Elowyn has already had a 10x and yet she is one of the rarest drops. Devs put a mediocre champ with her new 10x. My prediction is that Elowyn barely drops this weekend and that Anai is dropping left and right and the only reason Elowyn is on this banner is to entice people to pull more than they would normally. As to a rework, they just failed hard with reworking Kria so I am not holding my breath on Anai.

The point was with her you couldnt break the shields. I explain that explicitly. You can watch my stream from last night on the best account on forerunner where i compared her her using Twinfiend AND Solcadens, and compared her in equal gear to Setram, Imani, and Azzoth. She sucks I am sorry.
I'm not defending the champion, merely the cutoff for the test. Setram, especially A1 has an inherent advantage in shield-breaking. Unfortunately there isn't really any other methods of testing consistent damage over long periods besides clan boss though.@@fastidious_gg
I am only pulling this weekend to get Demon or Daemon however his name is, just for the abomination fusion since he's the last epic I need. Otherwise yea Anai when i read her kit honestly didn't seem that good even reading it, this testing made me even more disappointed.
elowyn does not need a talent and great out of the gate even with no awakens she is great i can only go based off her kit and alot of people talk about her i think the last banner we had that was a risk was vierna and calypso i think it was that an awesome hero and a ok at best one i hope in 2024 they dont do that anymore if you have elowyn you need a hero on the banner that either hero people get will be happy with

Yeah okay after watching the video, this was poorly tested and a far cry from a deep dive. Even down to the artifact choice it just makes no sense. Why would you build for attack speed and not use samsara? You keep talking about broken sets being realistic but it isnt logical in a "deep dive". She can easily have a soulbound set maxed out by the first shield or shortly after, this is unique to a few champs and isnt expressed here. Also for a "deep dive" you didn't test her in a cycling team where she would be strongest. She could easily get consecutive ults in a team like this. This means the potential for 8+ burns for an extended period of time. Exponential damage increases just xompletely ignored. If you compared her to nocturne in the same exact scenario, she would easily be on par or greater. Please dont make suggestions to the devs on champions if this is what you would consider a thorough test.
Insane comment. Tested for 3 straight hours. Speed build was the best with normal gear. Spellcaster was better than Nightmare Samsara. I did compare her to nocturne. Jeez this is such a sad bad faith comment. I tried her in soulbound but with normal gear like this, broken set was better. Do you really think these insanely basic suggestions were not thought of and experimented with by myself and the several people I did all this way. How clever do you believe yourself to be? I agree that a laurel strat would be her best use BUT that would involve building the entire timing around her. At that point, you would be far better focus your cycling around better heroes. Can you explain to everyone how a broken set is better than a comparable one that grants 50% more damage as well as more attack% in main stats? Or how a echo that grants 15% rage is better than samsara that gives 7.5% every 5 attacks when you're ulting roughly every 30 seconds and you attack at even 1.5? That would be 20 attacks ÷ 5 = 4 x 7.5 = 30% rage. Is 30 not greater than 15?

That’s tough. Elowyn is very rare - under 1.4 percent. So even with 10x there is less than a 14% chance to get her

He Awakened her and he used way better gear. For that gear the damage was still weak. People really need not to get this twisted.

I think its because any hero that helps add damage to the enemies in any way gets atk based healing, including rage regen

Im running Hollow in my current GB team, and just got Elowyn. So now im wondering,at what point i should replace Hollow with Elowyn. Because her skills are not maxed yet Also, did you test out Samsara on Anai? since its an autoattack hero, i would assume it gives her more then 15%

Yo Fastidious im sure this is a dumb question but I have everything needed for a great infernal gb team, but am missing the elite nightmare fighters and elowyn. I find the most success stacking pyros, nocturne, zilitu, setram, and hex without dolores receiving the lord buff. I havent researched best placement but why is having dolores receive the Lord bonus better than having her outside of the synergy in the second set of 5? Is it just because of the stat bonus from the lord bonus or is there some other reason? Also would you recommend I bump nocturne from the group and put dolores in? I realize i could test this myself but im lazy 😂. Thanks for the content bud!
if you are running 6 infernals it is best for her to be the one outside the team.

Hey Fastii, I have some question about Anai but can't join the test server :
- is it possible to cycle her ult with hollow and/or Elo and Laurel to refresh the burning and have infinite burning on the boss.
- does the burning scale dynamically with Dolores ult? or do we need to ult with dolores before Anai ult to get the att bonus on the burning?

burns scale with dolores from time it is placed from what I can see. With regard to cycling, I have more tests planned but it surely seems the quantity of burns is capped at 8. perhaps it can go up to 10 but I am now convinced from all my testing on stream last night that their is an unspoken debuff cap.

I think the issue might be the burn damage and other damage from debuffs doesn't count for the hero dealing the damange. Notice you had 38k blood (higher damage) with worse damage on the hero.
yea like when they did the fusion lego his radiant damage wasn't being counted so this needs fixed along with her burning. She should be doing tons of damage with all that burning.
That is wrong. That 38k blood is my cumulative damage including my earlier attempts. Her run had 11k blood.
What about with solcadens. Testing a1 would be nice.
certainly could be a decent pairing. I can test at a1 but I think anyone with Solcadens will likely still have more potent options. We can see tho. I will need stronger gear on Test Server to properly test that
@@fastidious_gg just being abit selfish really because I have solcadens as my only legendary lord. The only spot I can think see could replace, if good enough would be nocturne for me, don’t have hex. I am f2p so I probably won’t get her weekend but curious never the mess.
If I get the gear to run a later/end game comp like that I can try. Nocturne PERHAPS she could be an improvement upon WITH awakenings and Solcadens. I think any other leggo dps sub trumps her handily

It was some test alright. What it was not, is a test of the heroes capabilities.
edit: much better in your stream. While the result might be similar (in scale), it at least was an actual test to show her capabilities.
this test definitely showed her abilities with normal gear. which is what 90% of players have.
silus at A3 will help gb so much setram is a shield buster unfortunatly i only have an A1 silus also use nocturne i dont have hex also laya and hollow deimos and alister and dolores

I got elowyn as my first legendary, but of course all dust and 2 legendary crystals havent buffed the rage rigen stat 🤦♂️
In early game she helped me a lot, and i still use her, but i dont get why are you so excited, because i think she is really good (no doubt) but she need a range boost, 4x3 isnt useful in a lot of content
Now that i have an account in midgame I ended up using hollow (if i need rage rigen) and vortex (on tanky situation) way more than her because they have a much bigger area of effect...
Lets see if i can improve her rage rigen Skill and then i will try her again...
And for curiosity is better to have atk% or healing effect as a main stat on atk based healer? 🤔

So, Elowyn has already had a 10x and yet she is one of the rarest drops. Devs put a mediocre champ with her new 10x.
My prediction is that Elowyn barely drops this weekend and that Anai is dropping left and right and the only reason Elowyn is on this banner is to entice people to pull more than they would normally.
As to a rework, they just failed hard with reworking Kria so I am not holding my breath on Anai.

Not a super fair damage comparison after continuing past the third shield into a vulnerability phase. Should run again same gear and end the run At the same point. Probably run the comparisons up to the shield and cancel there
The point was with her you couldnt break the shields. I explain that explicitly. You can watch my stream from last night on the best account on forerunner where i compared her her using Twinfiend AND Solcadens, and compared her in equal gear to Setram, Imani, and Azzoth. She sucks I am sorry.
I'm not defending the champion, merely the cutoff for the test. Setram, especially A1 has an inherent advantage in shield-breaking. Unfortunately there isn't really any other methods of testing consistent damage over long periods besides clan boss though.@@fastidious_gg
I am only pulling this weekend to get Demon or Daemon however his name is, just for the abomination fusion since he's the last epic I need. Otherwise yea Anai when i read her kit honestly didn't seem that good even reading it, this testing made me even more disappointed.

elowyn does not need a talent and great out of the gate even with no awakens she is great i can only go based off her kit and alot of people talk about her i think the last banner we had that was a risk was vierna and calypso i think it was that an awesome hero and a ok at best one i hope in 2024 they dont do that anymore if you have elowyn you need a hero on the banner that either hero people get will be happy with

Yeah okay after watching the video, this was poorly tested and a far cry from a deep dive. Even down to the artifact choice it just makes no sense. Why would you build for attack speed and not use samsara?
You keep talking about broken sets being realistic but it isnt logical in a "deep dive". She can easily have a soulbound set maxed out by the first shield or shortly after, this is unique to a few champs and isnt expressed here.
Also for a "deep dive" you didn't test her in a cycling team where she would be strongest. She could easily get consecutive ults in a team like this. This means the potential for 8+ burns for an extended period of time. Exponential damage increases just xompletely ignored.
If you compared her to nocturne in the same exact scenario, she would easily be on par or greater.
Please dont make suggestions to the devs on champions if this is what you would consider a thorough test.
Insane comment. Tested for 3 straight hours. Speed build was the best with normal gear. Spellcaster was better than Nightmare Samsara. I did compare her to nocturne. Jeez this is such a sad bad faith comment. I tried her in soulbound but with normal gear like this, broken set was better. Do you really think these insanely basic suggestions were not thought of and experimented with by myself and the several people I did all this way. How clever do you believe yourself to be? I agree that a laurel strat would be her best use BUT that would involve building the entire timing around her. At that point, you would be far better focus your cycling around better heroes. I am sorry to get heated but a comment like this is the most know-it-all idiocy I have read in a while.

Can you explain to everyone how a broken set is better than a comparable one that grants 50% more damage as well as more attack% in main stats?
Or how a echo that grants 15% rage is better than samsara that gives 7.5% every 5 attacks when you're ulting roughly every 30 seconds and you attack at even 1.5? That would be 20 attacks ÷ 5 = 4 x 7.5 = 30% rage. Is 30 not greater than 15?

This is a bad showcase of anai you.put no crit on a damage dealer then put the gear on a hero that gains his own crit rate what are you thinking I have seen others build her and they are putting up 80 million yo put Zilitu's gear on her then show the difference they have similar kits she does damage not just burn ?
