Ranger Fan Here: AMAZING save but PERFECT example of 'making your own luck' - why? Watch the second view...
It shows how lucky he was to be sliding toward the net facing that way WELL before he couldve ever seen the rebound so he found himself in position at the exact right time to make a great stop BUT that luck was only poss cuz he was hustling on the backcheck in the first place (not sure if he tripped or dove from like, the slot lol
Bob/Igor/Oet/Swayman have all made some great saves too, tbh there's been one or two better saves from Goalies just this playoffs, just sayin...tho i did play goalie so im biased - this is more dope cuz of how close it was, not how athletic the play was (like Ovi's infamous behind the head sliding toe of the stick goal thats not making any luck, thats 100% skill)
but yes, i agree if he wasnt hustling back in desperation to begin with he wouldnt have ended up in the 'lucky' position to make the play - this really is a 'you make your own luck' example

It was a great call by the refs, they saw it wasn’t fully crossed and didnt call it a goal
