    Very nice reminder of the years I spent in Europe (mostly in Germany) courtesy of Uncle Samuel. Met very few people, in all of the countries I visited, who were anything but friendly.

    lanzaamlopers zoals deze 750 PK Deutz (type VM 545) hebben bij weinig toerental weing koelwater opbrengst, gezien de koelwaterpomp wordt aangedreven door de hoofdmotor ,

    I love your videos but please think about getting a fluffy microphone, the wind noise is terrible. Great videos though thank you. I wish I lived in the Netherlands to see so many boats.

    It would be nice if some info was provided about these barges, such as. Do they have additional bow thruster, what kind of diesel power, some barges have accommodations fore and aft, owner and crew. What type of products are carried, destinations, physical size.

      Thank you for the tip Ben Gone, I will see what I can find on the internet

    • @AlpineKris
      @AlpineKris 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @BenGone Those approx. 300 ft motorized barges do indeed have bow thrusters. In most cases the engine is sitting in the fore house, and you are right, this is mostly the accomodation for the crewmembers, if there are any. Many of these motorized barges are family operated, so there is no need for additional accomodation. Cargo might be dry, like sands, grains or thrash metal, liquids (a special variety of vessel) or single heavy goods like seen here with those concrete rings (they are part of the foundation/mast of a wind energy device). More information and the current location of a vessel can be found at Marine Traffic. here the link for the GRAVELAND

    That was great, very busy place. How do they unload the car do they have ramps or use a crane on the vessel ?

    • @ShipSpottingNederland
      @ShipSpottingNederland  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes Ron, my arm did hurt a bit after the 10 minutes! :-) I have never seen it that busy, but i hope it will happen again with different kind of ships. You ar right, they use a crane on board the vessel.
      Very best from the Netherlands to you!

      Crane of 1.5 tons can be seen on the ship.

    • @bigronshobbies8209
      @bigronshobbies8209 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Dutch Man I did see the small crane, I thought it was used maybe for setting engine parts or something of that nature. Here in USA they don't set cars on their boats.
