    The famous Americana artist Norman Rockwell used a projector draw out his subject on canvas before he painted them. If you were to tour his workshop museum today, the projector is there, but covered under a cloth because the curator doesn't want people to think he "cheated".

    Beautiful painting. Love the colors. Much more vibrant than the photo. Artistic license can make the painting of a photo reference take on more realism at the hands of a professional artist.

    Fascinating methods! I like the way you use colors in the water and sand in order to achieve the final outcome. It works very well! I am new to watercolor and you have taught me so much! Mostly to be brave! This piece turned out beautifully!!!
    I have been using masking fluid with a soapy Aquash water brush for fine details in the same way you use a brush. It cleans up very easily. I do not want to mess up my good brushes! Also, shaking the bottle creates bubbles, and makes those stringy things inside. So I just kind of swish it gently. Then pour into an old bottle top from something else. I am too careful with my supplies so as not to waste. Keeping the lid on the masking fluid as much as possible so it doesn't begin to dry up around the edges.
    Thank you so much for your generous instruction.

    When I was young I was regarded as a child prodigy , drawing and painting but got into graphic arts and color separation for packaging . I never got back to drawing or painting and was thinking of getting into drawing and oil painting ....but maybe do watercolor ? What do you think in getting started again ?

    I go to an art class which is 2 hours a session, once a week. My art teacher Never demonstrates what he wants us to do .Im very unhappy because it would help me a lot. Your demonstrations have helped me so much in just a few hours I can now draw figures which i could never do before. Do you have any suggestions as to how i can get him to demonstrate what he asks us to do.

  • @pselgee
    @pselgee 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It would be helpful if when you are drawing a figure, if half the screen focused on what you were doing and the other half focused on the figure so we would have a clear view of your technique as well as the figure.

      Марина Руденко thanks for asking, you can use either, but ochre will make the mixture lighter than using Sienna or umber.

    your figures are brilliant but your backgrounds are a bit off. You seem to have a runback in each painting and it can really take the viewers attention. I love how you apply your shadows to your figures and have learned a lot. Thank you.
