yooooooooooooooooooooo...Thank u bro!!!!!! iI literally just watched this video, and followed u step by step. yo my cordless masters are BACK. I appreciate u taking the time to make this video, keep up the good work, Thank You!!!!!
Duuuuuuuude! My Andis cordless Masters are so quiet after these tips. I couldn't get the ear plugs on right but replacement of the pad, and the black tape did an awesome job. Feel much better using them and not blowing the clients ear drums out. Good stuff! Thanks again for the video.
thanks for the video. To have a clearer idea and to know if I do the whole process, with what other clipper is the sound of the master compared after doing this? I don't notice much difference. Thanks!
Buy a new blade Yoke, mounting bracket and the little spring thing that goes up against the blade yoke and that's all you have to do and it will run and sound like it was brand new
Thanks for helping me enjoy my favorite clippers again!!! This 100 percent work. I tweaked mine a little for the front cover but man oh man. They are quiet finally!!!!
I loved the hook on this video bro. Very engaging and not something done by many barbers on youtube. My only feedback is that you should have pull the decibel reader out in the beginning so we could hear the before. Then at the end use it and do a side by side comparison. You Jimmy rigged the heck out of those clippers 😆 salute for being a fixer! Andis needs you on the board for real
All you have to do is buy a new blade yoke, the spring that presses against the blade yoke and a new mounting plate bracket which will cost you like 10 bucks maybe and it will run as quiet as it did when it was brand new. I'm sure this method works, but I promise you that it's much cheaper to go the route that I just explained and it's much faster and more convenient. It's a very simple fix and I have no idea how people don't know about this yet.
u gotta adjust the small screw on the side clockwise only while the clipper is on and turn it until noise gets quiter thats the power screw it comes off from factory thats why is too noisy
Does it cut better with the cam follower being more secure ? I don’t have cordless masters but I was thinking if I got them I would try to make them silent as I can lol
Hello! I found a fix without modding! After doing everything and about to throw them out, I bent the tension spring tight (thinking it would fix the noise but I noticed more noise. Then i bent the spring arms backwards, which loosened the moving blade and BINGO!!
I tried that but it got a little bit quieter but I also tightened the lever screws so that may have been why. Still loud tho. How did you bend the spring tension and for how long did you hold them apart for.
wow it solved my problem as I had not bought a workman's headset I put a bike camera on I cut some pieces and glued it with electrical tape and the ANDIS master cordless was quiet and was good with the blows for minutes silent wow
@@ConcisetheBarber I truly hope they do. I've been thinking about this since I've seen your modification. I've been trying some things and I think I may have found something a Lil more effective. Once I perfect it I'll share it with you. I'm a follow you so I can update you. 💯
The corded and his masters come very quiet. They get louder as they get older. As the most clippers. The style craft, the verdict still isn’t out. But with a couple of years that I’ve been around now, they usually don’t get that much louder.
Why doesn’t Andis implement what you’re doing into the clippers so they come stuck like that. Everybody complains about how loud they are. Shouldn’t Andis make the small tweaks to make it quieter.
Thanks man! Could you do a follow up/update on your progress? Also when you do the sound check could you compare it to a corded Masters? I want to buy a cordless Masters so bad but feel like they too loud
The problem is the bracket that holds the cutting blade over time it wears out andis needs to come out with a stronger one or sell the individual to buy
You could just purchase the ear plugs alone. Put them on and like magic they’re a lot quieter. 🤣 only issue I have with my master is the battery light turning red while on the charger and it not holding a charge. I contacted Andis for mine.
Step 1. Dont turn on the clipper Step 2. Hold Clipper with a secure firm grip. Step 3. Proceed to throw clipper in trash Step 4. Buy a different clipper You're welcome
That intro was crazy 🤯🤯🤯 The lid foam and earplugs is genius bro but I know first hand that electric tape gonna get chewed up and ripped up in there within a day's worth of cuts. I tried like 5 different things on mines and what ended up working was heating up the cam follower and pinching it together with some pliers so it would be tighter on the rotary arm. It's much quieter but I still don't like the sound pitch 🤷🏽♂️
It’s not that it’s the bottom black bracket that hold the bottom blade for the andis master they need the either make the body bigger or the bottom blade bracket smaller on the next one
Appreciate the attempt but its still way too loud. Very clever things you mentioned. I wish they were silent. To use that word in this video is a heavy stretch. The clipper is a mockery to the people who supported Andis for years before cordless smfh.
Jawns are still wyld loud Dawg, I could barely hear after you worked on them. Next mission is the loud ass door squeak. Every counter in there has a bottle of oil I'm sure, c'mon Bruh! 😆
they do cut amazing...once quieter clippers came out.. loud clippers became annoying to some barbers.. this vid is just for those who dont want to hear the loud rattle noise it can have at times

It actually worked!!!!! I was ready to give up on my Masters and now…. You gave new life to my Andis cordless 🤝🤝🤝
Glad I could help
Take the earplugs and give them to client. Problem solved😂
Lol man im laughing but im sooo mad at my clippers rn lol🤣
Lol that could work
🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Does that effect how the clipper cuts?..(does it lose power?)
It didn’t for me.. but they do have newer versions out

Thanks Chris for the feedback. I wasn’t thinking of that definitely will try that next time I use it again
Also that would be dope if Andis noticed this video
this is definitely the best video I've ever seen to shut up ANDIS master cordless thank you 👏🏾🙌🏿🙏🏾👏🏾
Glad it was helpful!
Hello
If you had to choose between the Andis Fade Master and the JRL, which one would you choose? (For fading)
Thank you
Just for fading I would say masters but if weight is a problem they it’s easy to say jrl
@@ConcisetheBarber Thank you 🙏🏻
I think The Andis company it’s sleeping yet...
Caliber 50 cal is super quiet and the only magnetic motor cordless...thx for the option if I ever get a cordless masters
i believe gamma ergos are magnetic motor as well
@@ConcisetheBarber gonna check it out...they are pretty quiet also...coworker has one

I’m sorry to hear that max .. I had a few people that said it worked for them

Is it still holding up?
It was .. I sold the masters to get new clippers lol
Does it cut better with the cam follower being more secure ? I don’t have cordless masters but I was thinking if I got them I would try to make them silent as I can lol
My upgrade didn’t effect how it cut at all .. if that’s what you’re truly asking
Is there a way where I can switch the light around like when it’s charged it’s red and when it’s dying it turns blue ???????
If someone is real tech savy maybe... but I have no idea on how to do that
Heard if u replace the blade yoke. It’ll make them much more quiet. An andis educator told me at a barber summit
Replace it with what?
@@ConcisetheBarberblade yoke
All right I knew someone would come with an idea on how to silent the andis I would of never thought of that thanks for this video

Tbh they really do sound the same. It was a good attempt to dampen the sound, however that won't really affect the sound too much.
sorry to hear that bro.. ive gotten a few that said it helped them so hopefully this issue can truly be resolved by andis

Someone should 3D print some of those black tabs so the prongs actually sit snug.
exactly

Where can I get scissors like that??
I got mines from a barber supply called William and bowman barber supply
I wish the masters were as quiet as JRL’s

@@ConcisetheBarber why u sell em? Too loud?

It's called a blade yoke, and you can buy them online
Tightening the lever lowers the noise. Also don’t eliminate the bands/clipper grips
true
