This sounds pretty amazing, very keen to see how it turns out! great to hear the old school rock pumping out while you're chopping the ginger and chilli haha
@@NoMusiciansInMusicAnymore yes.... hmm... I don;t have the time to find the good stuff anymore..... I go with what I know and pick up the occasional new stuff... but it's rare...
Keen to see how this comes up. I threw down Kingsley’s recipe last week and I was taken back by the artificial sweeteners I tasted in the wort. I always hate the taste of them, probably should’ve checked the tin before I went ahead. Definitely keen to try a more natural approach next time
I put one small chunk in the bottom of my onion box to let it burr up and I'll plant it out in spring and hopefully next year I'll have plenty of fresh stuff.
I've dedicated a tap to ginger beers, and I've been playing around with yeasts at the moment, I didn't get much luck with the champagne yeast( the beer came out way too sweet) and I ended up repitching. I got a Kingsleys on the go now with a new England yeast on it, I want to see if I can make it cloudy.

don't know how you get sweet with champagne yeast, should've been good and dry.
@@littlejohnsbrewing maybe a dodgy yeast pkt? Wasn't a brand it used before, definitely not drinkable. The us05 is what I usually use.
Any updates on how this went JP?
will be doing tasters over the weekend, so early next week expect a video to drop.
@@littlejohnsbrewing looking forward to it 🍻
No honey in the recipe LJ..?
nope...... and given the OG lucky I didn't put it in.....
i add honey to my beers,
i just drop the sugar/s,light dry malt
to compensate
@@grumpyoldman-21 I generally avoid honey, it's too empty for my liking.
